First, strengthen organizational construction, adhere to people-oriented and humanized work.
Organizational construction is the premise and guarantee for the development of gateball. Over the past year, the members of Xinmen Association have worked hard, United and cooperated, and at the same time improved their overall business level. According to the characteristics of more old comrades in gateball activities, adhere to the people-oriented concept and actively explore to make the work more humanized. Mainly manifested in: First, ideological care. Call on everyone to consciously learn new knowledge, learn the spirit of the 18th CPC National Congress, change their concepts, keep up with the situation and not fall behind. At the same time, we should do in-depth and meticulous ideological work, often educate and talk, resolve contradictions, and initially form a harmonious gateball court. The second is the concern in life. I bought electric water heaters, carpet mats and spotlights, which provided convenience for the old comrades who participated in the activities. It also stipulates that veteran comrades over the age of 80 can participate in various activities without being on duty. Give care, comfort and warmth to players who need help and have important things at home. The third is to provide quality services during the event. The purchase of voice timers, stereos and other equipment has effectively improved the quality of competition activities. Under limited conditions, a group of people from Door Association actively performed their duties, adhered to the people-oriented, humanized service, selfless dedication and fair and just working attitude, which was recognized by the majority of team members and leaders of relevant departments.
Second, strengthen infrastructure construction.
Infrastructure construction is a necessary condition for the healthy development of gateball. With the rapid development of society, the construction of gateball venues should also keep pace with the times. In August this year, with the strong support of the county government and the competent authorities, the County Gateball Association took advantage of the Dongfeng held by the 11th Farmers Gateball Championship in Taiyuan City to put on new clothes at two gateball courts in the county and the northwest gateball court in Xugou. During the renovation, the fence, gate, wall, scoreboard, goal, ball post and gadget warehouse around the county gateball court will be scrubbed. Especially before the city farmers' gateball competition, everyone worked hard and offered suggestions. In three days, they built a simple room of more than ten square meters and bought tables, stools and office supplies, which facilitated the gateball activities. The two gateball courts in the northwest square of Xugou undertake the competition tasks in Hedong area, but because they are not closed, they have become places for children to play in the community, and the facilities in the field are damaged. In order to change this phenomenon, with the joint efforts of Hedong Branch and members of the team, through the coordination and supervision of leaders such as Dai Shouxuan, the instructor of the Door Association, the county finance and Xugou finance gave 1 10,000 yuan of investment. In order to save money, the players did their own work, showed their skills and made selfless dedication, and completely closed two gateball courts, so that the golfers in Hedong area enjoyed a comfortable playing environment.
Third, strengthen the training and theoretical study of gateball backbones.
At the same time, the team is constantly growing. In view of the problems such as the small number of coaches and referees and the low technical and tactical level of the players, at the beginning of this year, Secretary-General Wang Qiang and Deputy Secretary-General Li Jizong held a two-day training course for coaches and referees in the county elderly activity center from March 2/KLOC-0 to March 22. More than 40 players who participated in the training studied hard, remembered carefully, asked if they didn't understand, and trained a group of junior coaches and referees through field exercises.
Solved the serious shortage of coaches and referees. The technical and tactical level of each team has been greatly improved, and the accuracy and standardization of referees have taken a step forward.
Fourth, do a good job in publicity and reporting.
Over the past year, in order to popularize the scientific fitness knowledge of the broad masses of the people and let more people know about gateball, we have made extensive and in-depth publicity and reports on various competitions by using radio, television and news media. At the same time, more than ten pieces of information were written in time and sent to higher authorities, county authorities and gateball magazines for publicity. Some activities and achievements in recent years have also been made into publicity pages, and every large-scale competition must be publicized and displayed. These works have played a positive role in consolidating old players and developing new players. This year, more than a dozen players have been added in Hexi and Hedong areas, and the overall quality of the players has gradually improved, and a harmonious gateball atmosphere has gradually formed. Many players love to play at home, and good things emerge one after another.
Five, adhere to the combination of inheritance and innovation, and create a scientific fitness atmosphere
Innovation has vitality, innovation can develop, and development is the last word. In order to meet everyone's needs, this year we tried to innovate outside the regular competition of traditional festivals and received good results. For example, in order to improve the basic skills of the players in an all-round way, we seized the opportunity to mobilize more than 200 players in the county for training before the gateball individual basic skills competition of the 22nd senior sports meeting in the county, and the leaders of the gateball association personally fenced in and took the lead. Everyone gets up early to practice consciously, and the activity atmosphere is quite strong. After the screening organized by the leaders of the Door Association, 42 players finally took part in the competition, and Wang Fengying won the first place. For another example, this year's city-wide farmers' gateball competition was held in Qingxu, which is an recognition and affirmation of our work and an important opportunity to promote the continuous development of the gateball cause in Qingxu. After asking for instructions, under the personal coordination of Huo Runde, chairman of the Municipal Door Association, the activity was strongly supported by the leaders of the competent departments of Zhangxian County and the county government, and allocated 30,000 yuan. On September 17, xx, the 11th Farmers' Gateball Competition in Taiyuan was successfully held in Qingxu, presided over by Guo Helin, director of the County Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres, and delivered speeches by Li, vice chairman of the Municipal Door Association, and Ma Yonghong, director of the County Culture and Sports Association. Seize the opportunity, attract sponsorship and solve the problem of insufficient funds. Gateball team belongs to enterprises and units, which is the development direction of gateball and the successful experience of many advanced units. During the "March 8th" Festival this year, Chen Zhongxiu, vice chairman of the County Door Union, made great efforts to link Kangxing Team to Frye Vinegar Company, which took the first step for the Door Union to link up with enterprises, and it is a new thing worth popularizing. The brand-new Frye vinegar team participated in the 23rd Women's Cup Gateball Competition held in March this year. Under the impetus of this activity, county trade unions, Zilin vinegar company and other units have also contributed funds to sponsor, achieving mutual benefit and win-win with gateball activities.
