Ningyuan building 1
The only water watchtower in Guangzhou can be said to be the strangest and strongest watchtower found in Guangzhou at present, because the watchtower is of reinforced concrete structure and its architectural style is a combination of Chinese and western. Ningyuan Building is surrounded by water, and the toilet sewage on the fourth floor can be directly discharged to Ningyuan Building on the water surface. From a distance, the watchtower has four floors, but there are more buildings with inverted cones outside the walls with more than two floors. Approaching the watchtower, we found that all the buildings made of blue bricks stood in an annular pool about 5 meters deep in Charlie, with a pool width of about 4 meters, a building height of 2 1 meter and a width of 5.2 meters. This is the only way to get into the bunker. Each corner of the bunker has this round hole, which is used to command people at all levels of the bunker to shout and direct operations. Standing on the suspension bridge, I found a plaque on the wall outside the first floor of the bunker, which read "Ningyuan Building, Guangzhou Cultural Relics Protection Unit, announced by Guangzhou Municipal People's Government in July 2002" and so on.
2. Takamatsu Palace Temple
The main ancestral temple in Gualing Village is called Gaosong Huanggong Temple, which has six temples under its jurisdiction, namely Luofeng Huanggong Temple, Aixian Huanggong Temple, Zhuangyi Huanggong Temple, Shengkuang Huanggong Temple, Sifang Huanggong Temple and Mingguo Huanggong Temple. Huanggong Temple and "nearby private schools" are lined up, facing south, and there is a once brilliant Guazhou River in the south, with three gatehouses in the east and west.
3. Xintang Park
Built in 2000, it covers an area of 100 mu. With the rapid economic development of Xintang Town, people have higher and higher requirements for the functions and venues of supporting public facilities in the city. The existing area of Xintang Park is far from meeting the needs of its development into a multifunctional green space and a central town integrating leisure, entertainment, fitness, assembly and improvement of urban landscape.
In 2007, the Party Committee and government of Xintang Town listed the reconstruction and expansion of the existing park as a key task. The expansion project of Xintang Civic Cultural Activity Center started in May 2007 and was completed in May 2008. After the expansion is completed, four basic functional areas will be formed: leisure activity space, open activity space, cultural and sports activity space and traffic flow space.
Functional orientation is: an important ecological park in Tiantianxintang, and also an important place for citizens' squares, daily rest, town celebrations and cultural and sports activities. Xintang Civic Cultural Activity Center has brought beauty, vitality and excitement to Xintang, and at the same time, it has also improved the enjoyment of Xintang people in spiritual civilization. It is also the coordinate for Xintang to move towards a green industrial city.
4. Traces of ancient oceans
Located in Qunxing Village, Xintang Town, formerly known as Shi Xiang. There are mountains of stones floating on the ground, and a hole is formed between the two stones. The hole is 2.5 meters high and 20 meters long. The people in the cave are like entering an alley, hence the name Shi Xiang. According to experts' research, Xintang ancient sea trace is the largest sea cave site found in Chinese mainland.
Experts believe that Shi Xiang was a small hill composed of red sandstone and conglomerate more than 70 million years ago. About 2000 years ago, the Dongjiang Delta was still a huge bay. The sea kept pounding the hill, washing the rocks out of an alley and becoming the present sea cave. Ancient sea relics include: Shi Xiang, Yi Shi Temple, Yishiyan and Zhangan Diaoyutai Site. There are also the newly-built Xintang Customs, Commodity Inspection Bureau and Animal and Plant Quarantine Station. There are many buildings, and thousand-ton cargo ships are moored by the river, so visitors can appreciate the prosperity of Xintang Port.
5. Ziyun Villa
Pure American villa community, located in Chen Jialin natural scenic area, with the back of the mountain and the lake, adjacent to Country Garden Phoenix and Jinxiu Xiangjiang Emerald Oasis.
