I'm a fitness instructor, so listen to me. I've seen this picture of you. This method is wrong.

The correct method and analysis are as follows

The correct way to breathe is to exhale when exerting force (that is, exhale) and inhale when exerting force.

Principle: When exerting force, the muscles are tense, and the blood flowing back to the heart in the muscle area is reduced, which increases the pressure on the heart (when the blood flowing back is less, the heart thinks that its beating times can't meet the needs, it will speed up the beating times); When exerting force, the chest cavity is enlarged, which prevents venous blood from returning to the heart and increases the pressure on the heart; When exhaling, the upper part of the chest is relaxed, which promotes the blood to return to the heart, thus reducing the pressure on the heart and relieving the pressure brought by muscle movement, so it is necessary to "exhale when exerting strength"

Simply put, exhale when you exert yourself. Use it.
