What is Zumba?
Zumba is a fitness dance.

Zumba is a healthy and fashionable fitness course, which evolved from dance. It combines music with dynamic and easy-to-learn movements and intermittent aerobic exercise, which is a new type of fat-reducing aerobic exercise with both dynamic and thermal characteristics. It also incorporates various international dances: samba, cha-cha, salsa, reggae, flamenco and tango.

The word Zumba originated in Colombia, which means "moving quickly with joy". It is a fitness sport that is popular all over the world. It was founded by Colombian dancer and fitness coach Beto Perez in 1990s. At present, in 186 countries or regions, more than1500,000 people are dancing Zumba.

Zumba origin:

Zumba was invented by Alberto Beto Perez in Cali, Colombia on 1998. Perez used to be a fitness instructor, but he often forgot to bring those regular fitness music accompaniment to his class. And he happens to have some Latin dance cassettes, mostly salsa and merengue.

Perez used these music as accompaniment to teach his students, and called this special fitness dance "rumbaziz". On 20 1 1 year, Perez began to cooperate with Alberto perlman and Alberto Aghion, and they released a series of fitness videos through informative advertisements.
