The play is adapted from the novel of the same name of Nine Little Seven. Producer Zhou Dan was very moved after watching the documentary "Swimmer Sun Yang", saying that Sun Yang's efforts and persistence made her truly respect professional athletes and world champions, and how much effort they made in the swimming pool for their beloved cause-even if they couldn't stand up, they had to swim until their palms fell off. And just as the company's reserve project has swimming theme, it decided to shoot a TV series to show the growth of swimming teenagers in China.

Adaptation process

The producer is different from the original, especially setting the environment in a school called Nanyang Sports University. Producer Zhou Dan said that the version of the play highlighted the competitive route of sports, and made drastic adaptation on the basis of retaining the original spirit, which greatly increased the length of swimming events and highlighted the sportsmanship of swimming teenagers who struggled and never gave up. In order to better convey this spirit, retired swimmers are also invited to participate in the adaptation of the script [32].

As for the prototype that has attracted much attention in the original novel, it is revealed that there are not only Tang, but also Qi Ruifeng, Tomorrow, Zheng, Xiang and other figures. The play is full of swimmers from the university team. To say prototype, we should learn a lot from the whole professional athletes, including athletes' documentaries, interviews with athletes and stories that everyone knows, including swimmers and other professional athletes. Therefore, these characters in the play combine the characteristics of many excellent athletes-indomitable, tenacious, strong, smart, team spirit and so on, so that everyone can see the colorful images of college athletes in the play. The producer said that Guanda and Seven have cooperated many times and are familiar with each other. Moreover, Seven's energetic and tenacious image, soft appearance and firm inner character coincide with Yun Yun, a journalist with a bursting sense of justice in the book, so he chose Seven to play the heroine Yun Yun. In order to make the lens of the swimming competition more dynamic and the picture more exciting, the crew created a panoramic professional swimming pool and tried to present a fierce swimming competition. In every swimming competition, the crew specially designed a mirror, and every game should be wonderful. This process is divided into all-round matching of underwater photography lighting. The game presented in the script is also different from the original. There are four important swimming competitions for college students, and there are many team competitions, training competitions and friendly competitions. [3 1]
