Baimiao Primary School is a full-time primary school jointly organized by Baimiao Neighborhood Committee and Xinjian Village Committee. In the past 20 years, with the strong support and help of Xinhui District Education Bureau, town government, town central primary school and Baimiao neighborhood committee, newly-built village committee, Hong Kong and Macao compatriots and social enthusiasts, the school has undergone tremendous changes. 1987, the teaching points scattered in the old ancestral halls of six natural villages moved into beautiful new school buildings, and the school was rated as the first-class school in Xinhui District by 1999.
