Table tennis is our national game. Table tennis doesn't need a big venue like other ball games, just a table, two rackets and a net. Table tennis is suitable for all ages; Playing table tennis regularly is good for improving eyesight, strengthening brain and enhancing all aspects of physical fitness. Therefore, table tennis is a very popular sport in China. In all sports, China athletes have achieved better results in table tennis than any other sports. So far, China athletes, seven world table tennis champions, account for six. The level of table tennis in China is recognized as the highest in the world. Therefore, it further promoted the broad masses' love for table tennis. In this huge group, students are dominant. In view of the students' love for table tennis, we apply for the establishment of a table tennis association to better carry forward the national game.

After the establishment of the Association, it will obey the leadership of the Youth League Committee and the Association Federation, insist on serving its members wholeheartedly, ensure the rights and interests of members to participate in the activities of the Association to the maximum extent, and bring the greatest benefits to members; Coaches are regularly invited to the association's activity venues to guide training, popularize table tennis knowledge to members, improve the technical level of table tennis and fully mobilize the enthusiasm of members. We adhere to the principle of "going out and bringing in": strengthen foreign exchanges and contacts, organize various activities, including those between the association and various fraternal societies, so as to make the association develop in a higher and broader direction, make the spirit of "unity, hard work and friendship" of the National Games of our country spread more widely in our college, and make the table tennis association of Southern Hunan University a well-known association in southern Hunan.
