1, Dawukou
Dawukou District, located in the north of Ningxia, is an old industrial city that builds the city with coal and prospers the city with industry. Founded in June 1973, it is the seat of the party and government organs in Shizuishan City, a major industrial town in Ningxia. Dawukou District is the political, economic, cultural, information and commercial center of Shizuishan City, and also the regional center at the junction of Ningxia and Mongolia.
Husha Lake is one of 35 national tourist attractions, only 10 km away from the urban area. 2. Shapotou
Shapotou, located about 20km west of zhongwei. In the scenic spot, there is the vast Tengger Desert on one side and the endless Yellow River water on the other. You can also take an ancient means of transportation-sheepskin raft and swim in the Yellow River. 3. Xixia Mausoleum
Xixia Mausoleum (also known as Xixia Mausoleum), located at the foot of Helan Mountain in the western suburb of Yinchuan City, is the royal mausoleum of Xixia Dynasty, where many Xixia emperors were buried. At present, there are 9 mausoleums and 140 tombs in the whole mausoleum area, which is one of the largest royal tombs in the history of China.
The shape of the mausoleum is different from other mausoleums in China. It is an inverted steamed corn head, which is called the "Oriental Pyramid". In addition, there are facilities and venues such as Xixia Museum, Xixia Historical Story Art Museum and Xixia Monument Forest in the scenic spot to help visitors understand the history and culture behind the mausoleum.
4. Hushafeng Scenic Area
Husha Lake, located in Pingluo County, about 50 kilometers northwest of Yinchuan City, is an eco-tourism scenic spot integrating the scenery of water towns and deserts in the south of the Yangtze River. Husha Scenic Area consists of a lake area in the north and a desert area in the south. The desert area has lakes on one side and artificial canals on the other, which are not connected with the land. You must buy a cruise ticket to go to the desert area.
In the lake area, you can see the rippling lake, green and red lotus gardens, clusters of green reeds, and the scenery of Jiangnan water town. When you take a cruise to the desert area in the south of the scenic spot, what you see are golden and dazzling sand dunes, showing the majestic customs of the northern desert.
5. Suyukou Ski Resort in Yinchuan
Yinchuan Suyukou Ski Resort is located in Suyukou Forest Park, a national AAAA scenic spot. Surrounded by mountains, the springs are tinkling and the scenery is beautiful. It is the largest professional alpine ski resort in northwest China. The ski resort is located in the middle temperate zone with granular snow, which is the most ideal alpine ski resort in Ningxia.
The ski resort covers a total area of 250,000 square meters, of which the ski track covers an area of10.2 million square meters. There are two primary and advanced snow trails (the primary one is 420 meters long and the advanced one is 350 meters long), and there are three special traction devices for snow trails. There are more than 1.500 sets of famous ski equipment, which can accommodate 1.500 people to carry out snow projects at the same time.
6. Jade Emperor Pavilion
The pedestal of Huang Yu Pavilion is divided into four layers, which gradually rises from south to north. The tallest building is Miki Hall, 26.2 meters above the ground. There are Chenghuang Temple, Guanyin Temple, Niangniang Temple, Sanqing Hall, Wulian Hall, Dongbin Hall, Sanguan Hall and Sanmu Hall, as well as main buildings such as Wenchang Pavilion, Guandi Pavilion, Bell Tower and Drum Tower and a large number of auxiliary facilities for tourists to visit.
The whole building is unique in shape and magnificent in momentum. When you board Sanmu Temple, you can lean against the fence and overlook the magnificent Helan Mountain in the west and the Yellow River in the east.
