First, the question of money. Most middle school students do not have much pocket money. Even if there is, it won't be enough to go to the gym to splurge unless parents support it. But how many parents support fitness in a society where scores are above everything else?
Second, the problem of consciousness. In China, where scientific fitness has not been popularized, it is not everyone's wish to go to the gym for formal scientific training. Middle school students have poor self-control ability. They like basketball, football and other interesting sports, so it is a bit difficult for them to receive boring strength training and aerobic training. In my university, there are more doctors and undergraduates in the gym, and the choice of fitness is related to the quality to some extent.
Third, the question of time. Middle school students, especially those in key middle schools, mainly study. I don't think they have much time for hobbies except going to physical education class.
