Liba Xixi Park, also known as Taobao City, is the headquarters of Alibaba Group, a well-known Internet company. Located at No.969, Wen Yi West Road, Yuhang District, Hangzhou (the intersection of higher education), Wuchang Street, the core area of Hangzhou Future Science and Technology City. Alibaba Xixi Park is located in Donger Road, South Innovation Road, West Higher Education Road and North Wen Yi West Road, with a planned total area of 260,000 square meters. The first phase of the project consists of 8 single buildings and 2 parking buildings, including the main office, canteen, gym, lecture hall, film and television screening hall and other daily office and leisure infrastructure, with a total construction area of about 290,000 square meters. The design of its main building is led by Japanese designer Kengo Kuma. On February 5, 2008, Ma Yun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alibaba (China) Co., Ltd., and Jiang Jun, then Deputy Secretary of Yuhang District Committee of Hangzhou, formally signed a contract to start the construction of Taobao City project. By August 20 13, the first phase of Alibaba Xixi Park was officially completed and unveiled. In just two months, about12,000 employees of Alibaba Group moved into the new park.
