1, sheet metal correction is the preliminary plastic work of automotive sheet metal painting.
2. After the scraping (plastic) body sheet metal correction, there are still some defects that cannot be remedied by sheet metal work. Even if new parts are replaced, the center will be imperfect. In order to be more perfect and accurate, it is necessary to use sculpture technology to make up for the defects.
3. Primer: It fills the sand marks and micropores at the bottom of the workpiece, increases the adhesion of the lower coating, and also has the function of defect indication.
4. Intermediate primer: prepare a well-lubricated working surface for the top coat, complete the last procedure of all primer work, increase the adhesion of the participating layers and have a certain isolation effect to ensure the quality of the top coat is not chaotic.
5. Topcoat: Topcoat is divided into single-layer paint and multi-layer paint, which is a color fixing layer and a decorative maintenance layer.
6. Treatment of painting surface of sheet metal: firstly, stop leveling and polishing with 1200-2000 mesh beauty sandpaper (2500 mesh if necessary), then stop polishing and cutting with coarse wax composed of pumice or clay to remove traces of sandpaper.
7. Stop polishing with fine cut wax, treat the traces of coarse wax, then treat with repairing agent to achieve perfect luster, and then completely remove the halo and scratches with mirror treatment agent.
Furniture painting process:
1, 1. First clean the furniture surface. If there are pencil marks or other things, grind them off with sandpaper. (Be careful not to grind the limit edge white when grinding. )
2. Spray the primer once. After drying, putty can be used to fill the pores of the board (the color of putty is darker than that of the board).
3. After the putty is dry, clean up the excess putty on the furniture surface with fine sandpaper.
4. Spray primer for 2~3 times. (Note that when spraying the primer once, wait for the front to dry quickly. )
5. Grind the primer and spray the top coat twice. (Try to reduce the dust in the air when spraying topcoat)
The difference between furniture painting and automobile painting;
1, the furniture is painted with wood, and the car is painted with metal, which is resistant to high temperature. It is much more troublesome to paint cars than furniture.
2. Furniture is generally painted with ordinary paint and dried or cured at room temperature. Metal paint for automobile has a curing temperature above 100℃, high ultraviolet resistance, and is not easy to turn yellow, which is more expensive than ordinary paint.
