The 9th Shanxi Farmers' Gateball Championship was held in our county, which encouraged and promoted the development of our county's gateball cause and created a platform for us to communicate with each other and improve our technology, which was of great and far-reaching significance. Through the competition, it will certainly promote the development of farmers' gateball in our county to a depth and breadth!
Qingxu is the birthplace of Shanxi mature vinegar, a famous hometown of grapes and an advanced county of culture and sports in China. In recent years, under the correct leadership of the superior door association, the county party Committee and the county government, and with the strong support of relevant departments, the work of the Qingxu door association has made great progress. Up to now, there are 22 gateball teams with more than 200 people and more than 20 gateball courts in the county, of which 50% are farmers' gateball teams and 85% are rural gateball courts. While taking an active part in the competition, Qingxu Gateball Association successfully held the 11th Farmers' Gateball Competition in Taiyuan in September 2000.
