Xinhe Wenbi Pagoda was built during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty by Zhang Dongying, a famous anti-Japanese soldier of the Ming Dynasty. It is well preserved so far. Xinhe Wenbi Pagoda is a six-corner, five-story pavilion-style building structure with hollow bricks. The height of the tower is about12.5m, and the diameter of the bottom tower is about1.5m.. There is an arch-shaped tower gate between the abutment and the bottom tower, which is1.37m high and 0.55m wide. There is a ticket gate every other floor or so, and there is a plaque on the north side of the fifth floor with "Tiankai Moire" written in regular script and black characters on the yellow background. The top of the tower is hexagonal and pointed, and the cornices are upturned, like Fengxiang. Gaiwa, the bowl is covered with gourd as the top. The decoration of the tower basically imitates wooden buildings, which is very realistic and has many decorative patterns. Except the ground floor, every floor of the tower is made of foreheads and inclined columns. The lower decoration is hung very thin. Leaning against the stigma, there is a bucket, and a slender and fancy trunk is placed on the barrel as a decoration.
1978 has been comprehensively reinforced and repaired. In May, 198 1 was announced as a county-level cultural relics protection unit. Now it is a cultural relic protection unit in Taizhou.
