Yes, in college, I will invest all my money in myself.
Why?
Because I think university is a place to cultivate myself. I should grow up to be an excellent, socially valuable and interesting person in college. I nibbled at boring professional books one after another in the library, brushed circles on the playground with a steady breathing rhythm, and changed PPT competitions over and over again with a small desk lamp in the middle of the night. All these, in my opinion, are investments in myself. And parents spend money for us to go to college in the hope that we can invest more in ourselves and become better people in college. So I think it is the most valuable and reasonable use to invest all my parents' money in myself. In college, if you can't save some trivial money for the future and try your best to make yourself better, it's really not worth the candle.
Let me give some simple examples about myself and where I will invest my money.
When I first arrived at the university, I bought a pair of new balance running shoes with my living expenses. In order to reduce the accumulation of meat sitting in the classroom for three years in high school and improve my physical fitness, I started long-distance running and persisted for more than a year until my knees began to feel uncomfortable, gradually reducing the number of long-distance running. Long-distance running brings me regular sleep habits and a reasonable diet. And a healthy heart and lung system. Although running my knees often is a bit too much for me, there is no doubt that I will run once in a while in the future.
When I was a freshman, I bought a guitar, and my living expenses were cut off from the money for eating. I worked as a tutor in the summer vacation and saved some money. School finally started, I bought a piano and began to teach myself. Although I am only a self-taught beginner, I have to say that in the process of learning guitar, I began to feel the beauty of music more deeply, and after learning a lot of music theory knowledge, I have a deeper understanding of music. Music can always comfort us and bring us quiet and strong emotions. Music still has a great influence on us.
Not only that, I also invest money in my personal image, study and hobbies.
In personal image. Although not many clothes are bought, they are all simple and basic, which reduces the number of online shopping. More often, I go to the mall to try it on and choose clothes with texture.
In my study, I often buy many professional books that are not available in the school library when I do activities in JD.COM or Amazon.
In terms of hobbies, I try my best to find my favorite fun. When I need more money, I will earn it through part-time jobs on holidays and weekends.
At first, for college students, I felt that investing all my money in myself was the most valuable way to spend money.
