People often say that "three sentences cannot be separated from one's career", so it is natural for me as a physical education teacher to talk about my dreams without my own physical education teaching work.
To tell the truth, I am a man without ambition. Because I was tall since I was a child, I like running and jumping, and my sports performance is particularly good, so I want to be a physical education teacher. Later, I was admitted to the physical education major in normal schools. 1999 After graduating from Teachers College, I took up the post of physical education teacher. At that time, I didn't think about how to strengthen the children's physique and train many sports talents for the country. There is only one thought in my mind: I want to be worthy of the title of people's teacher, I don't want to mislead people's children, I want to do my best to be a good physical education teacher.
However, what I didn't expect was that it would be so difficult to be a qualified PE teacher. I teach primary school physical education, but primary school physical education belongs to a "small subject", that is, a subject that does not need mid-term and final exams. My physical education class is always short of students at ordinary times. I asked people where they were, and the answer was "I was called by the Chinese (or math) teacher to make up my homework". When the school asks the teacher to go out to do something, it always assigns a PE teacher. When I said I had a class to attend, the leader said nothing. I invited other teachers to go. Of course, other teachers will not help me go to physical education class, but let students recite or do problems. At the review stage, other teachers will naturally say hello: "Miss Kitty, I want to help the students review this lesson, so rest!" " Before I made my presentation, they went straight to the classroom with books. What makes me most angry is that several new teachers assigned to me in the same period all have old teachers giving lectures and attending open classes. But I applied for two open classes, but the dean didn't agree, saying that Chinese and math couldn't be arranged, and physical education class had to wait for the next one. An old PE teacher at school now mainly teaches mathematics. He advised me with a wry smile: "Physical education will always be a secondary subject. I think you'd better consider teaching Chinese or math next school year. " I suddenly froze. Has my dream turned into a beautiful bubble?
I didn't give up. In the second semester, I took effective measures to advance towards my dream. Physical education class: I lead the students to the playground a few minutes in advance, so that the Chinese and math teachers in my class can no longer occupy physical education class. In my spare time, I discussed sports law with other teachers. My colleague understood my intention and said with a wry smile, "Little teacher, there is nothing we can do. At present, the competent authorities and parents of students attach great importance to students' exam results, so we can only take some minor courses to make up for Chinese and math. "It seems that I need to produce evidence that combining work and rest can improve learning efficiency. So, I went to the headmaster, hoping that he would ask everyone not to take up students' physical education class time this semester. The headmaster disagreed and said it was impossible. There is so much knowledge about Chinese and mathematics to review. In addition, other schools spend time reviewing minor subjects, such as physical education, art and music. If we don't do this, we will suffer in the end. I tried my best to say "be emotional and rational", but the principal just disagreed, saying that the last two months of the minor course should be used to review the knowledge of vocabulary and numbers anyway. I can't help it I can only make a written military order: if I fail the final exam because I went to physical education class, I am willing to drop out of school voluntarily. Under my mobilization, several colleagues also signed up to support me.
The headmaster finally agreed, so this semester became an epoch-making one in everyone's mouth, and physical education class stayed until the day before the final exam. Facing the exam, I began to feel uneasy. Fortunately, every classmate can give me a victory gesture with confidence on his face. The results have finally come out, and the results of the school's unified language and number examination have been significantly improved compared with last semester. That semester, our school's sports team entered the top three of the town sports meeting for the first time, and our school won the second place in the radio exercise competition. My physical education class won the first prize in the county excellent class appraisal, and I was rated as an "excellent trainee teacher".
Just when many teachers praised my courage and ability, I suddenly thought of a proverb: "It is not spring to outshine others". In the next three years, I wrote papers and took excellent classes. I try my best to hold a sports meeting once a semester, to be honest, to make myself more mature and capable of being a good physical education teacher and influencing people around me. I feel a little gratified to see that my school and several neighboring schools have been affected and paid more and more attention to sports.
Finally, when I became the deputy director of the teaching department praised by my colleagues, the new curriculum reform was launched in primary and secondary schools across the country. Just like "Spring Breeze Overnight", "beauty of sound and body" is no longer a minor subject, but we have been calling for "developing sports and strengthening people's physique" for many years, and finally we should start from dolls in a down-to-earth manner. Students exercise for at least one hour every day, and there are three physical activity classes in physical education class every week. These let me see the stage of physical education teachers where the sky makes birds fly and the sea makes fish jump, and let me see a bright and hopeful future.
When I wrote this article, it had been three years. Although I have been rated as an "excellent teacher" for many times and won the county government's award twice, although the students in our school have reached the sports standard now, and many people have been selected into the junior sports school, although our athletes have achieved great success in the 2004 Olympic Games, I know that my dream is just in its infancy, and "education is a lifelong thing", so I need to continue to work hard. The 2008 Olympic Games will be held in Beijing. China is still far from the goal of national fitness, and the sports industry in China needs to accelerate its development.
Therefore, my dream will never change: I am willing to keep pace with the times, be an excellent physical education teacher, and try my meager strength to trickle into the sea of Wang Yang where China sports develop!
