Thailand
(1) Kingdom of Thailand (Thai: English: Kingdom of Thailand, or Thailand for short. It is a constitutional monarchy country located in Southeast Asia. Located in the middle of Indochina Peninsula, it borders Myanmar in the north, Laos in the west, Cambodia in the southeast and Malaysia in the south.
(2) A relatively unified country was formed in A.D. 1238, which experienced Sukhothai Dynasty, Dacheng Dynasty, Wuli Dynasty and Bangkok Dynasty successively, and was originally named Siam. /kloc-In the 6th century, colonialists such as Portugal, Holland, Britain and France invaded successively. 1896, Britain and France signed a treaty, stipulating that Siam is the buffer state between British Burma and French Indian zhina, making it the only non-colonial country in Southeast Asia.
(3) Thailand is a member and founding member of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and also a member of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation, the Asia-Europe Meeting and the World Trade Organization. In 1990s, it became one of the "four tigers in Asia", but it suffered great setbacks in the economic crisis of 1998. Thailand is a newly industrialized country in the world, one of the emerging market economies in the world, and the only net food exporter in Asia.
