Zhengcun, under the jurisdiction of Xia Qiao, is located in the southwest of xinhe town, Wenling City, about 3 kilometers away from xinhe town City. It is adjacent to Hualan Village in the east, Tangxia Village in the south, Qiaotou Village in the southwest, Liangyun River in the west, Shi Yao Village in the north and Jinhua River in the north. Every village has direct access to Wenling city by car, and the traffic conditions are very convenient. Xiaojin River passes through the hinterland of the village, with a total length of about 3000 meters. Xiaojin River has undergone several changes. It turned out to be a pond ditch in Nantang. By the Southern Song Dynasty, its river channel was widened and its bottom deepened, and five bridges (namely, North Bridge Head, East Bridge Head, Ligou Bridge, Xinjie Bridge and Qianjietou Bridge) were built on Xiaojin River. The village consists of two natural villages (under Zhenghe West Bridge) and is divided into nine villagers' groups. The village area is about 0.5 square kilometers, with 455 mu of cultivated land and 20 mu of mountainous area. The total registered population of the village is 942, and there are 9 villagers' groups, 325 households and 645 laborers. There are 9 members of village-level Party branches and villagers' committees, 55 in party member and 28 villagers' representatives. There are 45 large and small enterprises in the village. The village-level economic structure takes the cultivation of water bamboo as the leading industry, and the planting area of water bamboo in the village is more than 300 mu, which is one of the main pollution-free water bamboo production bases in Wenling City and has been included in the provincial leading industry demonstration zone.
