Why are China athletes' weightlifting levels so much better than strength weightlifting?
On the one hand, the living standard of most ordinary people can't reach the level of balancing work and interests (such as weightlifting). On the other hand, weightlifting itself doesn't have a perfect industrial chain in China, so that top players can have enough to eat and wear. The high level of weightlifting is very simple. First of all, top weightlifters can get good financial security and personal honor, so that someone will devote themselves to the sport. Then the national system ensures that talented players can get a lot of resources and make achievements. Watch weightlifting again.

First of all, contestants. You can't rely on competition bonuses to eat, which means that players either take strength as a hobby or do sideline business to make up for their income. Fitness instructors should be the most, and fitness instructors need to "save the country by curve" in the direction of bodybuilding /Crossfit more or less because of their small audience. Of course, there is another kind of people, that is, young people/college students/international students with better family conditions. These people usually have no financial pressure and can devote themselves to this sport. But even these people rarely take weightlifting as their main business after the end of their student days.

Secondly, the venue. There are basically three kinds of venues in China: gymnasiums, iron gymnasiums and private education studios. The best hardware is the high-end gym, the most suitable for weightlifting training is the high-end personal training studio, but the most popular among weightlifters is the iron gym. It comes down to money. High-end gyms have the most money, but they need to be open to the outside world, so most of them are fixed equipment and tickets are expensive. Private education studios (especially many Crossfit) usually have a good free power zone, but because of economic reasons, few players can go there to train because they mainly sell classes. The remaining iron halls also have free power zones, and tickets are relatively cheap, but a series of problems involving operating costs such as small-scale operation, difficulty in updating equipment in time, air conditioning and ventilation are not ideal.
