Why is it so hard to find Tai Ji Chuan in the gym?
Lack of integration.

The traditional Wushu regimen still sticks to five lines of gossip's traditional philosophical cognition, which is rejected by the fitness groups under the modern scientific cognition to some extent. The fitness system is very mature and stereotyped, that is, first anaerobic (strength: dumbbell) and then aerobic (heart and lung: running) before group training. Similar to traditional Wushu, it should be a group sport: low-intensity aerobic exercise, one-to-many teaching mode, which can be (but not limited to) carried out in the form of guidance. However, this model still cannot take into account the purpose of Wushu exercise and the fitness purpose of fitness people.

In fact, there are already some exploration modes. The "Tai Chi Fit" course developed by Tai Chi Zen follows the pattern of group gymnastics course, and follows the music and coaches to perform the inherent movements in traditional Tai Chi routines, from slow to fast, from decomposition to whole, supplemented by oral explanations, so that bodybuilders can learn the movements of Tai Chi routines in this process and achieve the effect of aerobic exercise.
