Sihui is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, located in the central and western parts of Guangdong Province, which is the junction of plain and mountainous areas and belongs to the Pearl River Delta economic circle. It borders Sanshui District of Foshan City in the east, Dinghu District in the south, Guang Ningxian in the northwest and Qingxin District of Qingyuan City in the northeast, hence the name "Four Rivers".
Dawang refers to Dawang Comprehensive Economic Development Zone, which is an important joint point between Pearl River Delta and Southwest China. Dawang Management Committee entered Jiangjungang community. (1) Cantonese
Dawang Cantonese is the main language used by local residents in Dawang. Cantonese belongs to Luoguang dialect, which is distributed in various communities. The phonetics, syntax and vocabulary of Dawang Cantonese and Guangzhou Dialect are basically the same, but there are some differences.
(2) Hakka dialect
Dawang Hakka dialect and Meizhou Hakka dialect belong to the same language family. Due to the influence of Cantonese, its pronunciation and tone are slightly different from Meizhou Hakka dialect, mainly distributed in mountainous areas such as Luohu and Dongfeng, and some other communities also speak Hakka dialect.
Teochew dialect
It belongs to Minnan language family, with many ancient sounds and words, and vivid and humorous language. It is distributed in communities such as Jiangjungang, downtown and Zheng Long, and is mainly used by immigrants in Chaoshan area.
(D) Sichuan dialect
The language family belongs to the northern dialect, which is mainly used by Wushan immigrants from the Three Gorges and concentrated in urban communities. Wushan vocabulary is different from Mandarin.
