Ketogenic food refers to foods with high fat, low protein and low carbohydrate. Ketogenic diet mainly simulates the metabolic state of human body when it is hungry, forcing the body to take fat as the main energy source. The weight ratio of fat to protein+carbohydrate in the classic ketogenic diet is 4: 1.
In order to achieve this ratio, the diet should avoid high-carbohydrate foods, such as starchy fruits and vegetables, bread, noodles, grains and sugar, beer and so on. And increase high-fat foods, such as meat (salmon, mutton, beef, chicken legs, etc. ), nuts (walnuts, almonds, pine nuts, etc. ), avocado, cream and edible oil (olive oil and coconut oil). Ketogenic diet needs to be used under the guidance of nutritionists.
