How to be a happy teacher
People live not for pain, but to pursue happiness as the eternal goal of mankind, and teachers who teach and educate people are no exception. At work, among many factors that affect the happiness index of teachers' life, whether the students they teach are collectively successful in their studies, whether they are happy in their study life and whether the teachers themselves are happy at work is a crucial factor. From more than 30 years' teaching experience, we know that the highest state of teachers is actually to constantly cultivate students who can enjoy a happy study life today and create their own happy life tomorrow. No one can give others what they don't have. If a teacher wants to give his students happiness, he should first become a happy person and know how to create happiness. So, how can we become a happy teacher? First, be kind to yourself-be a harmonious and healthy person. In an era when education is far from universal and there are not many educators, teachers, as a few knowledgeable social workers, are often regarded as "prophets" and respected, and were once promoted to the level of "heaven and earth". As for the relationship between teachers and students, there is even a saying that "one day as a teacher, life as a father". Nowadays, with the development of science and technology and the popularization of education, knowledge is not only enjoyed by a few people, such as teachers, but also by teachers in primary and secondary schools. The relationship between teachers and students, once regarded as father and son, has long lost its reason for existence. Instead, it is a democratic teacher-student relationship, a friend-like teacher-student relationship, and a partner-like teacher-student relationship. Therefore, in the orientation of teachers' social role, we should adjust our mentality from the following two aspects: 1. Let go of the shelf of "being a teacher" left in our hearts because of the great historical and cultural inertia, and learn to get along and communicate with people equally, peacefully and fairly. In fact, many interpersonal conflicts between teachers and students and their parents that eventually lead to tragedy are because our teachers have not put down their lofty dignity, dare not admit their mistakes, think they are superior to others, and use "language violence" to hurt students and parents. A condescending attitude has become an offensive weapon. 2. If we are going to take teachers as our lifelong career, we should give up the unnecessary heart of comparison and be good at finding the pleasure of life from our professional advantages. Don't compare wealth with businessmen-you are "rich in money" and I am "full of peaches and plums"; I don't compare my position with that of a politician-I live in a temple, "it's too cold at the top", and I have the leisure of "picking chrysanthemums under the east fence and seeing Nanshan leisurely" (winter and summer vacations); Don't spend too much time with others, just "I won't move because of the noise in the streets of Huang Yang" and do what I should do. We should adjust our mentality in time and keep a psychological balance in a rapidly changing society, which is the basis for us to maintain physical and mental health. Mastering psychological "balance" is equivalent to mastering the golden key to open the door to health and happiness. As a teacher, if you want to be happy in life, you should also adjust your work and lifestyle in the following two aspects: 1, and consciously implement the "two rules". In other words, complete the specified tasks within the specified time, and don't easily overdraw your life to do so-called "dedication" that is unfavorable to yourself and may not be powerful to others. 2. Active and moderate leisure. We should make good use of weekends, winter and summer vacations and leisure time after intense work every day to carry out self-care, games, entertainment, fitness and other activities to adjust our body and mind and maintain a healthy state of mind and body. Without a healthy body, there is no happiness, no living environment, no teachers' morality and no professional development. Maintaining mental balance and physical health is only the most basic element of being kind to yourself. Only by constantly developing professional knowledge, improving teaching skills and striving for sublimation on the moral level can we truly "keep pace with the times" and never fall behind, and we can truly treat ourselves well. When we feel more and more fun from ordinary teaching career, when our inner happiness is beyond words, we can create students' good mood with our own good mood and create students' happiness with our own happiness. Second, be kind to students-being a mother-like teacher is closely related to the growth of students from session to session. In the growth of a batch of students, we move from immaturity to maturity and from maturity to aging. When the elders and sages among our students become the pillars of society, we will naturally disappear from the three-foot platform and become an integral part of the sunset landscape of life. As a teacher, to get happiness in life, we must first become a successful teacher, which is self-evident, and being kind to students is the prerequisite for the success of teachers' career. Without the cooperation of students, teachers' work will never be effective. It can be said that the success of teachers' work depends to a great extent on teachers' interest and ability to arrange students to cooperate with themselves. Being kind to students means being kind to yourself. The happiest teacher is the teacher who makes students feel happy in their study and growth. Then, how to treat students well and how to open the window of students' hearts with love, so as to open the door to successful education? Mr. Xu, an academician of China Academy of Engineering who is a teacher, made a wonderful exposition on this issue in the article How to be a teacher today. I feel very awake after reading it, and the record is as follows for reference: First of all, if you love students, you should know them. Understand their hobbies and talents, their personality characteristics and their spiritual realm. For a good teacher, only by understanding the characteristics of each student can we guide them to become a complete person with personality, ambition and wisdom. Education is the study of people and the guidance and shaping of people's souls. Suhomlinski put it well: if you don't understand children, their intellectual development, their thoughts, interests, hobbies, talents, endowments and tendencies, you can't talk about education. Secondly, loving students means treating every student fairly and treating all students as their own children. According to the investigation of teachers' personality characteristics, in the eyes of students, "fairness and objectivity" is regarded as one of the most important qualities of teachers. What they want most is that teachers treat all students equally, without favoring one over the other; What they are most dissatisfied with is the teacher's preference, eccentricity or neglect and discrimination against some students according to personal likes and dislikes. Fairness is the basis for children to trust teachers. Third, to love students, we should respect their individuality and creative spirit, get along on an equal footing, not be overbearing, and stimulate their thirst for knowledge and creativity with trust and care. In the process of education, teachers are dominant, students are the main body, and teaching and learning are interrelated and interdependent. As the saying goes, "teaching and learning learn from each other", "disciples don't have to be inferior to teachers". A good teacher will put students on an equal footing, trust all students, and regard them as their good friends and partners in seeking truth. Third, be kind to colleagues-open up a paradise suitable for survival and development. The interpersonal relationship between teachers is nothing more than cooperation and competition. Correctly handling these two relationships is conducive to career development and physical and mental health, and is an essential ability for a qualified teacher. If cooperation is more than competition, we can make education better and get twice the result with half the effort. We can cooperate with others to learn from each other's strengths and make ourselves gain the most in the least time. Why not? There should be comparisons between peers, and there should be high and low comparisons. How to treat colleagues who get along with each other day and night after the difference between high and low appears also involves a person's spiritual realm and noble sentiment. Be kind to colleagues, you can have more friendship and less disputes; More cooperation and less competition; Appreciate more and complain less; More care, less indifference. People get along with each other more, which is a natural competitive relationship, and contradictions are inevitable. When dealing with contradictions, we should be less impulsive and more rational. Think carefully, try to make your remarks and demands legal, reasonable and reasonable, and don't hurt each other; Be cautious when taking action, and strive to be rational, favorable and restrained. When colleagues encounter difficulties, give them help as much as possible; Give heartfelt congratulations and encouragement to colleagues when they get achievements; When colleagues have misunderstandings, explain them clearly in person. We should always realize in our usual education and teaching work that the school pursues comprehensive educational effects and requires teachers to have cooperative spirit and team consciousness. Only in the effective cooperation with colleagues can we reflect our professional value; Only in the team of teachers can we feel the happiness of work, and only the cooperation of the team can bring us unexpected educational achievements. This is the truth that "everyone gathers firewood and the flame is high"! Draw nutrition from our cultural traditions, and persist in applying the old adage of "don't do to others what you don't want them to do to you", "don't do to others what you don't want them to do to you" and "tolerance is great" to interpersonal communication. Adhere to the principle of "harmony without difference, struggle without struggle, and unity outside the party" as our criterion for dealing with people. We will find that we not only have the ability to transform our own mood, but also have the ability to influence the interpersonal ecological environment within a certain range. When the Woods are big, there are all kinds of birds, and so is the group of teachers. Because people all have secular desires, teachers are also people, not gods, and sometimes they are emotional, sad and happy. Being kind to colleagues is not only an attitude towards people, but also a profound knowledge. In daily work, we should understand the life track, personality characteristics, habits, expertise, family situation and so on. Colleagues with different experiences find mentors and partners among their colleagues, learn from their experiences, learn from others with an open mind and learn from each other's strengths, which is a high-value thing for ourselves, others and the whole school. Happiness is a feeling, and happiness depends on the mood, especially the nature of teachers' work. As long as we strive to pursue the perfection in our hearts, we will be worthy of the title of "people's teacher". Even if we don't deliberately pursue happiness, true happiness will remain in our hearts.
