Mysterious architecture

(1) Tall buildings similar to pyramids and circular buildings of the Colosseum were found in Rome.

At the end of 2005, Geng Wei revealed the latest discoveries of underwater archaeology in Chengjiang County in recent two years. A golden sonar scan shows the magnificent outline of the underwater city, which is amazing. Geng Wei said that the area of the ruins of the ancient city has reached 2.4 square kilometers, which is no less than that of Chengjiang County in the 1970s. There are eight main buildings, of which two high-step buildings and a circular building are the most important.

One of the tall trapezoidal buildings is divided into three floors, the bottom floor is 60m wide, the second floor is 32m wide, the top floor is 18m wide, and the whole building is 16m high. As can be seen from the sonar scanning, its pace is very neat and symmetrical.

The other staircase building is the most magnificent. It consists of five floors, the first floor is 63 meters wide at the bottom, the second floor is 48 meters wide, and the third and fourth floors have collapsed seriously, so you can weigh them carefully. The fifth floor is 27 meters wide and the whole building is 2 1 meter high, which is similar to the Mayan pyramids in the United States. There is a small step connection between each big step, and the first big step goes straight from bottom to top.

What is even more surprising is that some bronze buttons depict circular staircase buildings that are almost the same as those found underwater. The circular staircase building on the bronze ware is divided into two floors. A dozen people on the first floor, three or four people on the second floor, sit on the steps and watch bullfighting or other performances. Geng Wei believes that the underwater circular building is the prototype of buckle design. Some experts once thought that this circular building was an entertainment facility or a stadium, but Geng Wei said it was impossible. I don't agree. #039; If it is a stage building, it would be too extravagant and unrealistic under the social conditions at that time. #039;

At present, almost all archaeological achievements about the ancient Dian state are concentrated on the excavation of tombs and cultural relics. The ancient Dian kingdom, which once flourished for more than 500 years, has not found any living architectural remains so far, which makes Geng Wei guess that it is no accident that the high-rise buildings at the bottom of the lake are similar to the patterns on bronze wares.

Among many legends of Fuxian Lake, the legend about hippocampus is the most bizarre. It is said that this kind of seahorse can run on the lake like a fly, often appearing in the morning fog, and then diving into the water after the fog clears. There are many records in ancient county annals. Geng Wei thinks that when the water level in Fuxian Lake is very low, people can see a hole with a diameter of 8- 15cm on the bare slate in a very shallow place, which is shaped like a horseshoe print. In the underwater structure, he also found many similar holes, some of which have stone nails on their inner edges. At first, he thought that these holes were used to connect slates. Later, he found that these round holes were inserted with stakes and then connected with ropes to form a regular rectangle.

By studying the bronze patterns of ancient Yunnan civilization, archaeologists found that the architecture of ancient Yunnan people was mainly pole-column architecture. This kind of column building is a building that first builds a frame with bamboo and wood, hangs the bottom layer, and then repairs the wall. Geng Wei believes that the rectangle formed by inserting wood into the stone slab hole completely conforms to the foundation of grid architecture. From this, he came to the conclusion that the footprint of hippocampus is the foundation of pole-column architecture with trees inserted, and the underwater monuments of Fuxian Lake must have a direct relationship with ancient Yunnan civilization.

Not inferior to Mayan civilization
