In 2007, due to policy adjustment, Sichuan City Vocational College was established with the approval of the provincial government on the basis of two non-school secondary colleges, namely School of Information Technology and Foreign Affairs College of Sichuan Normal University. Three students were recruited from two professional colleges and operated under the new mechanism. On July 20 17, with the approval of the provincial people's government, Sichuan City Technician College was established on the basis of Sichuan City Vocational College. At present, there are more than 4000 students in Technician College. The school was included in the "Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" of colleges and universities in Sichuan Province.
