From May 20, 2009 to April 0, 2009, the facade of Sichuan Provincial Gymnasium was rebuilt, and the supporting facilities in the gymnasium were improved. After the transformation, the Sichuan Provincial Gymnasium presented Asian Music Festival, Hundred Flowers Golden Rooster Award Ceremony, International Model Contest, large-scale concerts, musicals and so on. By introducing famous dramas and brand events, we will create more and better cultural and sports highlights, enhance the influence and management ability of stadiums and gymnasiums, and thus create conditions for stadiums and gymnasiums to better serve sports events and national fitness.

From July 20 1 1 year to July 20 1 1 year, the outdoor landscape renovation project of Sichuan Gymnasium was completed. This transformation has redesigned a new fitness path, laid a sports plastic floor, improved outdoor fitness facilities and updated signs. At the same time, the second floor platform of the gymnasium and the ground of the South Square were resurfaced.
