Shenzhen is connected with Huizhou mountains and seas. Later, Shenzhen was separated from Huiyang area and upgraded to a prefecture-level city, and Huizhou was also upgraded from a county-level city to a prefecture-level city, which governed some cities and counties in the original Huiyang area. Since then, Shenzhen and Huizhou have become brother cities living next to each other. Today, Huiyang District under the jurisdiction of Huizhou City is connected with the mountains and seas in Shenzhen, which is a veritable zero distance in geography.

Of course, if you want to go from Shenzhen (such as Luohu District) to Huizhou (such as Huicheng District), it is not zero distance. Looking at the relevant maps, we can see that it is about 80 to 90 kilometers to drive from Luohu Port in Luohu to the West Lake Scenic Area in Huicheng.

Huizhou, alias Goose City, belongs to the prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Guangdong Province and is the central city in the middle and lower reaches of Dongjiang River:
