José Carlos Cruz, a Portuguese architect of Evora Ecork Hotel in Portugal, and his team chose composite cork as the external wall of the main building of the hotel, because this material is very stable, insulating and recyclable. In order to ensure the integrity of materials to the greatest extent, Cruz only opened a few small doors on the external wall to enter the interior of the building. The layout of hotel suites follows the custom of Portuguese hotel layout, and they are all located behind the main building. The suites are mainly designed in white, and each suite has its own private courtyard.

Guarantee privacy. At present, many tourists are full of praise for Ecork Hotel. Evora Hotel Portugal

Built among cork trees and olive groves,

The master plan was inspired by the medieval village of Arentho, which was surrounded by major buildings (castles) and several white buildings. All services and hotel facilities are integrated into a single building, freeing up external land. Evora Hotel Portugal

Influenced by local and Arab buildings, a single building with a small opening connected with the outside world was created, which was completely covered with cork veneer and completely recyclable, ensuring the thermal insulation of the building. Around a huge courtyard building, this layout design can gain the advantages of crosswind and air circulation, thus minimizing power consumption.
