Singapore Australia International School (AIS), established in 1993, provides global education based on Australian curriculum for students from 2 months to 18. It is the only school in Singapore that offers both IBDP (International Diploma Program) and HSC (New South Wales High School Certificate) courses.
There are more than 2,600 students and 300 teachers and staff in more than 55 countries, of which about 65% are Australians. Schools provide a comprehensive education, but also cultivate visual arts, music and drama. /kloc-was adopted when it was 0/8 months old, which realized the speech and drama plan of London Conservatory of Music and Drama (LAMDA) and Orff's music literacy plan.
Technology is an integral part of all courses, including music and art. 1: 1 iPad courses from kindergarten to grade 5 and 1: 1MacBook courses from grade 6 to grade 2 are used to encourage students to explore, study and communicate. Through library meetings, writers' visits and literary activities, a strong reading culture has been promoted.
Sports is an important part of AIS life. Smart Steps gym is used to cultivate teamwork and sports skills from an early age. AIS also provides 65,438+000 competitive teams, including track and field, football, swimming and netball. The school also carries out outdoor education programs, including camping and wildlife trips, weekend adventures and jungle hiking. Children develop from building and observing nature to rock climbing and downhill.
