I. Overview of the Project
(1) Project Overview
The National Aquatics Center is one of the landmark buildings of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the only landmark Olympic venue designated by the Beijing Municipal Government and donated by compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. During the Olympic Games, I will undertake swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, water polo and other competitions. After the Olympic Games, it will become a multi-functional large-scale water sports center, which can provide water entertainment, sports, leisure, fitness and other services for the public.
The National Aquatics Center is located in the southwest corner of Zone B of the Olympic Park. The main building is close to the central axis of the city and balanced with the National Stadium.
The east side is the landscape road, the west side is the west side of the landscape, the south side is close to Beiding Niangniang Temple, and the north side is Chengfu Road. The project covers an area of 62,828 square meters, with a construction area of 79,532 square meters during the Games, a cornice height of 3 1m and a basement area of177m×17,000 standard seats (including about 65,438 temporary seats and about 4,000 permanent seats). The design service life of the main structure of this project is 100 year. The approved project investment is 654.38+0.2 billion yuan. The project started on February 24, 2003 and is scheduled to be completed in June 2007.
(2) Project management system
Authorized by the Beijing Municipal Government, Beijing State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd., as the project owner, is fully responsible for the construction and operation management of the National Swimming Center. China Three Gorges Project Development Corporation is hired as the project manager to be responsible for the specific construction management.
Designer: National Swimming Center Design Consortium of China Construction Corporation (including China Construction Engineering Corporation, China Construction International (Shenzhen) Design Consulting Co., Ltd., PTW Australia and Arup Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd.);
Construction supervision unit: Beijing Pike International Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd.;
General contractor of Jian 'an project construction: China Construction First Bureau Development Company.
Second, the design scheme
At the end of June, 2003, our company passed the international design competition, went through technical pre-examination, expert review, contract pre-negotiation, public voting and technical demonstration, and reported it to the municipal government and the Olympic Organizing Committee. At the mayor's office meeting on July 28th, 2003, the municipal government approved the "Water Cube" scheme with the participation of a design consortium composed of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, China Construction International (Shenzhen) Design Consultant Co., Ltd., Australia PTW Company and ARUP Company.
(A) the design concept
This is a building about water. The microscopic molecular structure of water in the form of foam is amplified into the organic spatial grid structure of the building itself through mathematical theory deduction, thus becoming the building itself. "Water Cube" calmly expresses courtesy and respect for the home court with a pure square shape, which complements the complete circle of the main stadium.
(2) Structural features
The exterior wall and roof envelope adopts a new steel membrane structure system, which consists of a series of steel grid cells similar to cells and crystals and ETFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene * * * * polymer) inflatable membrane.
Third, the engineering and technical difficulties
(1) Key Technology of "Water Cube" Structure of National Aquatics Center
The structure of "Water Cube" follows the most common structural form in nature and adopts a new spatial structure based on the theory of effectively dividing bubbles in three-dimensional space, which forms the uniqueness of the national swimming center structure. It is a challenging task from analysis, design to construction, and it also puts forward many new topics for the development and research of spatial structure.
(2) Ultra-large ETFE membrane structure
The design of "Water Cube" adopts a new type of ETFE inflatable pillow in the building envelope, covering an area of 654.38+10,000 square meters. It is the largest ETFE application project in the world at present. Compared with the traditional building envelope, ETFE facade assembly system has the advantages of light weight, flame retardant, beautiful appearance and good light transmittance.
(3) Key technologies of indoor environment system
Because ETFE inflatable pillows are completely different from traditional building materials in physical properties, and the National Swimming Center has strict requirements for indoor environment, it is very important to understand the influence of sound, light and heat characteristics of this special enclosure structure on indoor environment and put forward performance improvement measures to ensure that the indoor environment requirements of the National Swimming Center are met.
Some of the above problems have been solved, and some are being overcome through related experiments.
Four. Project construction progress
On February 24th, 2003, at 65438, the foundation laying ceremony of the National Swimming Center was successfully held. Relevant leaders of the Central Committee and Beijing Municipality attended the foundation laying ceremony, marking the official entry of the National Swimming Center into the construction stage.
By February, 2005, earthwork excavation, foundation engineering piles and floor waterproofing have all been completed, including earthwork excavation of about 400,000m3, foundation engineering piles of 4,366 and floor waterproofing of about 40,000m2.
On June 5438+ 10, 2004, the concrete pouring construction of the bottom plate was started, and now the concrete construction of the underground structure and the backfilling of the fertilizer tank are under way, and some sections have reached plus or minus zero. At present, * * * has completed 40,000 cubic meters of underground structure concrete and 8,000 tons of steel bars, accounting for 56% and 6 1% of the total respectively.
Five, the project construction arrangement
In April 2005, the concrete construction of underground structure was completed;
In June 2005, the concrete construction of the above-ground structure was completed;
Completed the installation of steel structure by the end of 2005;
The installation of membrane structure was completed in August 2006;
At the end of 2006, the equipment was installed and put into commissioning.
It was completed in June 5438 +2007 10, and the completion acceptance was completed.
Assumption on post-game operation of National Swimming Center
While meeting the requirements of the Olympic Games, the National Aquatics Center project has taken the post-game operation into consideration to the maximum extent in its design. The existing design makes full use of the post-competition use of the National Swimming Center, and organically combines competition and entertainment.
At present, the National Swimming Center is mainly divided into seven operating areas in design, namely: main competition hall (including the competition pool and diving pool), warm-up pool hall (warm-up pool), swimming pool (swimming paradise), multi-function hall (skating rink), south building, north building and commercial street.
I. Competition Hall
Its function is to carry out temporary, planned, group and training courses of water sports training. During normal operation, the auxiliary facilities of the main competition venue include:
Customer locker room
Swimming pool equipment storage room
Technology, announcement and audio-visual control room
Swimming pool management and staff area, including locker room.
Hospital central passage in the museum
Swimming club reception room and club management area
Second, warm-up billiards hall.
During normal operation, the auxiliary facilities provided by the Warm Pool Pavilion include:
Customer locker rooms, including family locker rooms.
