In chest muscle training, why should we focus on upper chest training?
In our fitness training, pectoral muscles should be one of the most important training parts, because many of us now have such an aesthetic state, that is, the requirements for pectoral muscles are relatively high. If our chest muscles are not well trained, our figure may not be particularly good to a large extent. Moreover, pectoral muscle is one of the muscle groups with relatively small muscle mass in our chest, back and leg training.

It takes a long time to train your chest muscles and make them stronger. Generally speaking, more than two years of fitness training will make our chest muscles grow better.

My point is that when we train the pectoral muscles, if we want to train the pectoral muscles well and firmly, then it is best to give priority to upper chest training.

The so-called key upper chest training means that in the process of chest muscle training, two or so upper chest training movements are carried out first, and then other parts of the chest muscle are trained.

There are two main reasons why we should focus on upper chest training when practicing chest. Then, I will introduce these two points to you in Bian Xiao, hoping to help you.

First, the motion range is large, covering a large area of chest muscles.

In many of our chest exercises, there is such a feature that our movement range will be larger than other chest exercises.

For example, when we do barbell bench press, the range of our movements, or the distance of barbell movements, is larger than when we do barbell bench press.

This can greatly stimulate the upper part of your chest muscles and achieve better training results for your upper chest.

Moreover, we need to know that the upper part of our pectoral muscle is a bigger part of our whole pectoral muscle. In my opinion, the upper part of the pectoral muscle accounts for a large part of our whole pectoral muscle.

In other words, if you can practice the upper part of your chest muscles well, you can make your chest muscles thicker to a great extent and make your chest muscles look more tall and beautiful.

Second, training is more difficult.

In the process of pectoral muscle training, the upper part of pectoral muscle should be the most difficult part, and its training movements are generally much more difficult than the middle and lower parts of pectoral muscle.

Because our shoulders need to bear more compression force when training the upper part of the pectoral muscles, we need better shoulder stability and shoulder muscle strength.

In other words, if we want to have better shoulder stability in the process of chest muscle training, so as to better train chest muscles, then we need more training on the chest.
