2. Achilles tendon inflammation
3. calf spasm
4. Knee pain
5. Stress fracture
1 calf pain
Leg pain is a common physical discomfort phenomenon after running, also called Gaskin pain. Usually manifested as: pain in any part of the calf, and some are accompanied by swelling. The front and inside of the calf and the inside and back of the calf are multiple parts.
If you feel that the pain is concentrated in a small area of the calf, which is sensitive to touch but can't heat up with exercise, it may be considered as a fracture, rather than simply external tibilization. This symptom is common among beginners, and there are various reasons, including running too much or inappropriate sports shoes.
Achilles tendon inflammation
Achilles tendon, also known as Achilles tendon, refers to the tendon connecting the foot root bone and calf muscle.
3 calf spasm
Leg cramp is what we often call calf muscle cramp. Clinical symptoms are mainly spontaneous forced contraction of calf muscles, accompanied by severe pain, which usually lasts for several seconds or dozens of seconds.
Usually, it can get better by itself. Many cramps are caused by excessive tension or overuse of calf muscles. Some people also warm up because they don't do proper stretching and warm-up exercises before running.
4 Knee pain
Pain in the lower or lateral knee during or after running. This phenomenon may be the decline of leg muscle function or knee joint flexibility, or even meniscus injury.
5 stress fracture
Stress fracture, also known as marching fracture or fatigue fracture, is mostly caused by long-term non-physiological stress on human skeletal system.
In running, stress fractures are mostly due to the fact that the same part continues to bear less impact or load during exercise, especially when the same action is repeated for a long time. Too much practice and incorrect posture usually lead to this kind of fracture.
