Jianggan District, which belongs to Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is one of the oldest urban areas in Hangzhou, located in the east of Hangzhou metropolis, with an area of 200.00 square kilometers.
Jianggan District is the bridgehead of Hangzhou's eastward expansion, the axis of Hangzhou's urban development strategy and the transportation hub of Hangzhou. It is the new political, economic and cultural center of Hangzhou, the location of CBD (Qianjiang New City), and the largest higher education park in Zhejiang Province, Xiasha Higher Education Park.
