Beijing Nanhaizi Country Park is one of the four largest country parks in Beijing and the largest wetland park in Beijing, with a total area of over 1 1 km2. This park is named after the royal garden Nanyuan. Nanhaizi Park is located on the south side of the South Fifth Ring Road in the northeast of Daxing District, between Daxing New City and Yizhuang New City. This is the first major ecological project for Beijing to implement the South Action Plan. The first phase of the project was completed and opened to the public on 20 10, and the second phase officially opened on July 28th, 20 19.
