How many wetland parks are there in Wuxi? At present, the city has built three national wetland parks, including Lihu, Changguangxi and Hongliang, six provincial wetland parks and 28 wetland reserves. Wetland protection and restoration covers the whole city, and the natural wetland protection rate reaches 62%.

Lihu Lake, also known as Wuli Lake, Wuhu Lake or Xiaowu Lake, is said to have been boating here in the Spring and Autumn Period. In memory of Fan Li, later generations renamed Wuli Lake Li Lake.
Lihu Lake has become a national wetland park integrating wetland protection, wetland tourism and wetland science popularization, and it is a city card of Wuxi. He has successively won the highest award for environmental landscape design of American Waterfront Center, the Outstanding Achievement Award of International Real Estate Association, the Model Award for Human Settlements of the Ministry of Construction, and the National Award for the highest honor award of Canadian Landscape Architecture Society.

Changguangxi National Wetland Park
Changguangxi Wetland Park is located in Taihu New Town, Wuxi, with Junyi Mountain and Xuelang in the west, Taihu Lake in the south and Lihu Lake in the north. It is a corridor connecting Taihu Lake and Lihu Lake, and is known as the kidney of Taihu Lake and Lihu Lake. Since ancient times, wetland parks have had the natural characteristics of wetlands, such as water towns, villages and waterfowl paradise. Shitang Covered Bridge in Wetland Park is one of the landmark landscapes of Lihu Lake. It is a long covered bridge with Jiangnan characteristics, which embodies the history and culture of Lihu Lake in our city at present. On the west bank of Changguangxi, the peaks are continuous, the ancient trees are towering, and the mountains are bright and beautiful; Dong Xi is an endless plain with green fields and beautiful scenery. Dozens of bridges across Changguangxi, such as Shitang Bridge, Hengshan Bridge, Nanquan Bridge and Wutang Bridge, are like rainbow waves, connecting east-west land traffic.

Hongliang National Wetland Park
Hongliang National Wetland Park is located in the east of hongshan town, bordering Bodu River, Caohu Lake and Ezhen Party in the east, Taihu Lake in the west and Yu He River in the south. The total planned area is 159 hectares, and the core area is 88.87 hectares.
The park has initially established a national wetland park integrating wetland protection, wetland tourism and wetland science education.

Wuxi Taihu daxigang wetland park
Wuxi Taihu Daxigang Wetland Park is located along the Taihu Lake in Wuxin District, extending 200 meters into the lake, with a total area of 3.8 million yuan, covering 7.8 kilometers of Taihu Lake coastline in Wuxin District. It has the longest colorful fitness trail of 13 km in the city, which is the frontier of "the source of managing the Pacific Insurance", the ecological barrier of regional development, the pioneer area and the back garden of high-quality development of science and technology parks.

Jiangsu Wanshandang Provincial Wetland Park
Jiangsu Wanshandang Provincial Wetland Park is located at the junction of Houqiao Street and Yang Jian Town in Xishan District. The total area of wetland park is 243.2 1 hectare, of which the total wetland area is 154.39 hectares. Surrounded by rivers, lakes are dotted around the park. The park is divided into five functional areas: wetland protection area, restoration and reconstruction area, education exhibition area, management service area and rational utilization area.
