Tianshan Grand Canyon Scenic Area is located in urumqi county, about 40 kilometers away from Urumqi. The average elevation of the scenic spot is about 2000 meters, and the annual average temperature is (4 ~ 6℃) C. The scenic spot is named as National Forest Park, National Sports and Leisure Base, Autonomous Region National Fitness Development Training Base, Autonomous Region Mountaineering Base and Autonomous Region Fitness Mountaineering Training Base, and it is a national AAAAA-level scenic spot.

There are eight unique landscapes in the scenic area, namely Tianshan Ba Leisure Area, Zhaobi Mountain Holiday Leisure Area, Gastaban Sightseeing Area, Swan Lake Natural Scenic Area, Niulinhai Songtao Sightseeing Area, Kazak National Customs Garden, Alpine Grassland Ecological Area and Alpine Glacier Sightseeing Area. It is a comprehensive tourist resort integrating tourism, vacation, culture, adventure, outdoor sports, health and leisure.
