Tai Ji Chuan and Daogong: Mr. Nan's Narration (from Shifang Magazine)
Editor's Note: This lecture was originally written by Mr. Huai Jin of Southern Normal University in the Legislative Yuan 1966, and was compiled by students' on-site notes. According to Shi Yun, this article is only the information of casual conversation at that time, with many omissions and incompleteness, so it involves many boxing principles of Tai Ji Chuan, so it is published for readers' reference.
cause
Mr. Han Zhensheng, president and legislator of Tai Ji Chuan Association, once asked me about "Tai Ji Chuan and Daogong", so I put forward my personal experience of learning boxing when I was young, and we all agreed that it would be more satisfactory to learn Tai Ji Chuan in the final stage. Because the meeting was very congenial, at his invitation, he made this speech in the second meeting room of the Legislative Yuan on 19661month 1 1. The news published in the newspaper that day mistook me for a martial artist, which is not true. It's just that the domestic martial arts spirit is declining, which is worrying. Just like today, China's culture is in urgent need of prosperity, and Tai Chi Chuan is becoming more and more popular in Europe and America. Every time I see the photos of boxing posture sent from abroad, I can't help feeling that "orange was born on the Huaihe River and suffered for it". Therefore, I take the opportunity of this speech to contribute my personal views.
First, after practicing martial arts
childhood
I have been active since I was a child, and I love reading martial arts novels. I started practicing all kinds of martial arts when I was just twelve years old. Before, when I was six to ten years old, I often read martial arts novels privately, because I was sickly, accompanied by medicine and myopia, so I hid in the upstairs study and practiced according to the pictures, without my parents knowing. Because I want to fly over the eaves and walk over the wall, I have also practiced hanging upside down. One day, I accidentally fell from the beam to the ground, and there was a sound shock in a room. Father heard a loud noise and went upstairs to see it, only to know that I was secretly practicing martial arts. At that time, his old man did not blame me, but invited a martial artist to coach me in martial arts. At this time, I officially started practicing martial arts.
arouse
At that time, the so-called "hard boxing" popular in Yueqing, Zhejiang Province was similar to the general boxing today. When I first started practicing with my teacher, I didn't know whether it was appropriate to learn this powerful boxing with my weak body. I can't tell the pros and cons of boxing, but I get dizzy every time I practice boxing. Why not? But I was eager for chivalrous deeds since I was a child, so I forced myself to practice as a tool.
Visiting teacher
Since then, people have become more and more familiar with martial arts, regardless of sects. Anyone who has the ability has either magical powers or martial arts, or bows down to be a teacher. So, by the time I was 20 years old, I had more than 80 believers from all walks of life. The scope of study includes South Sect and North Sect, Changquan, Bunt, and even eighteen weapons. At least 14, plus Mongolian wrestling, westward attack, etc. It can be said that "touch everything and learn everything." 」
match
On one occasion, Mr. Zhang Qingjiang from the Central Martial Arts Museum hosted a provincial martial arts competition in Hangzhou Martial Arts Museum. I also participated, and won the championship with good posture. Before the Anti-Japanese War, there were martial arts schools in all counties and cities, all of which were in charge of special personnel, and martial arts flourished. But personally, I reflect that the martial arts I have learned are not perfect, and the various factions only know their way through a glimpse, but I am determined to continue to seek teachers to visit the Tao and get close to them.
Second, the process of visiting.
Lu Xiaofeng
At that time, I heard that there was an old man in Huangcheng, Hangzhou. It is said that he is a monk of the Manchu royal family. The old man is white, handsome and radiant. It is said that he became a sword fairy. I was so excited to hear the news that I went to pay my respects several times, but I didn't meet each other. Thinking of the sincerity of the visiting Taoist teacher at that time, I knelt down as soon as I met him. Today, colleagues exchanged visits and talked about metaphysics. Some people even regard this kind of interview as a favor to the host and a respect for each other. Today is not what it used to be, and I want to come with a lot of regrets. It is said that when everyone came to see him, the Taoist claimed that he couldn't do swordsmanship and taught people to paint plums if he wanted to learn painting. After many twists and turns, I finally met him, that is, I repeatedly begged him to learn the sword, only this one, and nothing else. Because of my sincerity and firmness, I finally got a further interview opportunity.
As soon as they met, they asked, "What sword did you learn? I replied, "I have studied Qingping and Qimen." So the Taoist ordered me to practice what I learned on the spot. After I practiced for a while, he criticized: "It's really just a joke. Can't practice any more. This is a waste of time. It is better to study. "Then he added," Have you ever heard of some novels and books saying that white light is shining and flying swords are flying? That's nothing in the world. Although there is a sword fairy, it is not as described in the novel; Today, you should try it for a while. Every night, the doors and windows are closed and there is no light in the room, so that the back room is dark and only one incense is lit. Try to split the incense head with a sword, focus on your wrist, keep your arm still, and then enter the first stage where the incense is split in half with a sword. Step two, throw the beans into the air and split them in half with a sword. When you can practice kung fu here, come to me and explain kendo to you. 」
At that time, after listening to it, I thought it was too difficult. Although I know there is nothing difficult in the world, it is not impossible to practice sword like this. But because I was determined to learn literature and martial arts at that time, I was able to help the world, and everything was distracted. I was afraid that my heart would not be single-minded, but I accomplished nothing. You can't have it both ways, so give it up. I gave up being a sword fairy, but I still studied boxing diligently. You must get up at 3 am every day to practice boxing, and then take a shower and change clothes two or three hours later. At that time, there were many martial arts teachers around the West Lake in Hangzhou, and I infiltrated day and night. I pranced with a sword, with iron rings tied to my arms and iron bricks tied to my legs, just like the "Taibao students" at that time. Smile! I met many monks and Taoists in the future, each with his own expertise, but what he said was basically the same as that of Chenghuang Mountain Road. In a word, I practiced martial arts during the time when I learned boxing, so I can say that I didn't stop for a day.
Liuchuan
I went to Sichuan alone in February and March before the Anti-Japanese War. Later, a friend followed the government to Sichuan, the capital of Sichuan. When we met, they all said that I had foresight, but I didn't know my wish to learn from Emei. I remember visiting Taoism all the way. When I arrived in Hankou, I met two strangers, one of whom was very vulgar. The Taoist priest is red-faced and the layman is lame. His hands were twisted with iron bullets, and his smile was misty. I couldn't help following them. They walked around the back of the Yellow Crane Tower without looking back. Over the mountains until the downhill, turned around and asked me, "Strange! Young man, what are you doing here with us? I wanted to tell him the visitor's intention of seeking Tao, but suddenly I felt that there were many liars in the world. If I am cheated in Hubei alone, I will be in trouble. I will say that I am traveling in the mountains. They asked me where to go, and I said to go to Sichuan. The Taoist priest looked at me carefully and said, "Good! You should go to Sichuan. We'll meet again, but don't follow us today. "He also left me the address where we will meet later, so we broke up. In retrospect, the behavior of these two people is very strange and unforgettable. After I entered Sichuan, I visited Qingcheng and Emei Xianfo Temple all over, without stopping all the way.
Encounter differences
Guiming Mountain, a famous scenic spot in Sichuan, was the secluded place of Zhang Daoling, the founder of Taoism in the Eastern Han Dynasty. There lived a Taoist named Wang Qingfeng on the mountain. He was a legendary sword fairy in Sichuan. I went up the mountain to look for him, and after many times, I finally met him. He is also a strange man. He said: there is no such thing as flying swords, but there are sword immortals. But his statement is slightly different from that of Chenghuang Mountain Road in Hangzhou. He said that sword is a kind of qigong, so-called god control, sword control god, can defend the enemy from a hundred paces away. He also said that there are five kinds of swords, tangible and intangible. When he knew that I admired Jin Guangqi's swordsmanship, he told me that I needed to make a small Jin Jian one inch and three minutes long, and then practice it in a Taoist way. Just like Taoist alchemy, gold can be refined into liquid, taken and drunk. If poisoned, Taoism has no medicine to relieve it. At that time, I thought privately, now that science is developed and powerful weapons such as guns and bullets have been invented, why should we practice this kind of fencing? If it is to strengthen the body, many people already know the methods that are enough for health care, so why waste time in this respect. Because of this idea, the will can never persist and give up.
Later, I asked Wang Qingfeng to perform. At that time, our feelings for each other were already deep, so he specifically agreed to my request. Once, he stood on the top of the mountain, pointed with his hand and landed on an old pine tree on the top of the mountain a few feet away. I was still childlike, and I was surprised to ask him why there was no light. He said, "I have already told you that there is no such thing. There is another reason, practice until there is light. 」
At this time, his big disciple was also beside him. This man is also dressed as a Taoist. I also asked him to perform, but when I saw him shouting through his nostrils, I saw where he was standing, and the surrounding mountains and soil turned to dust. I witnessed these two performances with my own eyes, from which I believe that China Wushu can be practiced to a very high and wonderful level. This is a ...
The second stranger I met in Ziliujing, Sichuan Province was introduced by Mr. Li Zongwu, who is famous as "La Roche". Gong Li's knowledge, extensive knowledge and noble morality are rare in the world. As he said, the "theft" in his works "makes people see the truth." Designed to satirize the world. When I met him in Ziliujing, I told him that there was an 80-year-old man in Zhaojialun village nearby who got the true biography of Wudang Neijia's martial arts, and his flying skills had reached the realm of "walking through the snow without trace". If he studies with him, he will only achieve something in three years. Because the old man's master was from Zhejiang, he also wanted to give a reward to a deceased disciple. Know that I am from Zhejiang, let me introduce you.
So we took the "slider" to visit the countryside. After the talk, we even called it "fate". The old man didn't believe me when he saw that I had doubts about climbing cliffs. After he smiled, he sprinted for more than a mile and quickly walked back. At this time, it had just rained and the ground was muddy. After a trip back, his soles were not muddy at all. And at the beginning, I didn't put on airs and came and went freely. He asked if he wanted to see the skills of climbing the wall. Immediately, I saw him put his arm against the wall without any posture. He was already high above the ground and smiled and said, "Do you believe it now? Do you want to learn? He also said that there are only 72 moves to learn these kungfu, which can be summarized as 72 words, one move per word, one gesture per word, step by step, without squares, on the pavilion, that is, applications, and you can teach them if you want to live for three years. I thought and thought, but I was afraid that I was not interested in anything, so I had to politely refuse. Looking for someone to pass on all the way, but I didn't find it. I still miss the regret.
Abandon boxing and learn Zen.
Later, when I arrived in Chengdu, I met a boxer from Henan. He taught me the "Thirteen Dafas", that is, the thirteen postures developed by Tai Ji Chuan, which were both rigid and flexible. However, every movement is fatal. I suddenly feel that if people who learn this set of boxing have no moral cultivation, they often kill people, how can they get it! So from then on, I gave up boxing and concentrated on learning Zen. I have been closed in Emei for three years and have been isolated from boxing.
Tai Ji Chuan has many styles. Chen's double-faced and Yang-style Tai Ji Chuan have both been practiced, and what I can barely remember now is the posture of Yang-style boxing. I feel reluctant to practice the whole set because of the long-term shortage. I have been practicing boxing for twenty or thirty years, and I have never practiced or competed with others. It can be said that I have never used it in my life, and the more I am afraid of doing it, the more tired I am practicing martial arts. Han Feizi, a legalist in the Spring and Autumn Period, famously said, "Confucianism violates the law by writing, while chivalrous people use force to prohibit it." Scholars despise each other since ancient times, and soldiers never admit defeat. He is brave and ruthless, rough and unrestrained, and sometimes unbearable, so he gradually alienated his Wulin friends in the later days.
The roots of Wushu can be traced back to the profound culture of our country five thousand years ago. The ancients created characters, and the principle of martial arts was clear. The purpose of Wushu is to control chaos with martial arts and seek "harmony". Learning martial arts in later generations will cause more trouble, and so will learning literature, which is also the main motivation for me to abandon martial arts Zen. The above is my experience in learning martial arts, which also proves that I am not a so-called martial artist.
Third, talk about practicing qi and martial arts.
In recent years, many articles about Tai Ji Chuan Wushu have been published in newspapers and magazines, and their views are quite different. For example, some people say that Shaolin Boxing was handed down by the founder of Dharma, and Tai Ji Chuan was created by the founder of Zhang Sanfeng. If studying the general theory of Wushu is of little value in this respect, there is no need to argue more. In fact, China's martial arts can be traced back to its origin, and it has been formed in the primitive life of human beings since our ancestors. The so-called struggle between heaven and man, between man and beast, between man and man, and between man and environment are the sources of martial arts.
Origin and evolution
During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, China's martial arts had flourished. As mentioned above, the progress of Wushu is closely related to the time, economy and culture. During the Spring and Autumn Period, countries conquered each other, used chariots and horses in the war, and advocated the war of chariots and horses, but rarely fought on foot. After the Han Dynasty, car wars disappeared, and only horse wars prevailed. After that, Wushu really developed into fighting with broadsword and spear. In primitive operations, materials are easy to obtain, so in weapons, sticks are called "the king of hundreds of battles." After the front end was equipped with sharp weapons, it evolved into guns, broadswords and so on. Therefore, he called the gun "the king of many battles" and the sword "the thief of many battles". Because using a sword against the enemy depends on ingenuity, and it is also close to tricky. From the evolution of human culture in this respect, we can see the track of Wushu progress.
After the Han Dynasty, the development of weapons from sticks to spears and broadswords was also the general trend. Our hand-to-hand combat was after the Tang and Song Dynasties. In the earlier Southern and Northern Dynasties, when Liang Wudi was in China, the founder of Dharma came to China from India, and he lived in seclusion in Shaolin Temple. He is regarded as the ancestor of Zen. However, it is impossible to verify whether he ever told the facts about martial arts at that time. Anyone who can't find evidence is inevitably suspected of being possessed by future generations in the name of others. Buddhism thrives in India, but the religion that precedes Buddhism in India is Brahmanism. There is yoga in meditation, paying attention to practicing qi and repairing pulse. India's primitive culture is more similar to China's Taoist practice. The founder of Dharma is an Indian, so he may be good at this kind of martial arts. As for the practice of yoga, the movements are extremely simple, only a few basic and concise movements can be done after understanding, which are easy to learn but difficult to master. Compared with China's Taoist Kung Fu, Taoist Kung Fu can be turned into reality. Only one breath can be divided into more than 390 kinds, while yoga can be divided into dozens. It is generally believed that after the founder of Dharma came to China, he taught yoga and Taoism and passed on Shaolin Wushu. For example, there may be such a move in legend, but it is only a way to keep fit and does not involve the content of Zen. Looking at the origins of Shaolin's many martial arts, some are similar to the frustrated literati in ancient China, who lived in seclusion and became monks, Buddhism or Taoism. Some people break the law, and after they become monks, the government can get loans without delving into them. In a word, among the monks, there are good and evil people mixed up, including Jiang Yang thieves and hundreds of generals. It is not impossible for them to retire from Buddhist temples, do nothing, stretch their fists and start classes, and gradually form Shaolin style. Therefore, there is no need to regard Shaolin's various boxing methods as the founders of Buddhism.
Neijia
For example, the so-called "family boxing" has always been said from Shaolin. There are two idioms about the difference between China Wushu and foreign Wushu. The so-called "practice your breath inside and your bones and muscles outside" can be said to be a concise explanation. For example, Nanzong's White Crane Boxing is an example of Neijia Boxing. This is wudang boxing. According to the evolution of Shaolin, it evolved into Nanzong Boxing. Nanzong means "practice for a breath", that is, practice for a breath, and the movements should not be violent. This is also a gradual evolution, not formed at the beginning.
Who is the initiator?
Zhang Sanfeng is a man with unclear history and many contradictions. Does he exist or not? Modern textual research scholars are skeptical, but according to my research, it should be true and Taoist. Because most of the people who wrote history books in the past dynasties were Confucianism, the habits of Confucianism often excluded the two great figures, Buddhism and Taoism, especially those who made achievements in martial arts. Maybe there has been a debate in history, I don't know. But it goes without saying whether Zhang Sanfeng was the founder of Tai Ji Chuan. Taoism in past dynasties has a tendency, as Laozi said: "fame, retirement, heaven." "Never love famous, don't like to be famous. Unlike westerners, as soon as they get something, they are eager to publish it and make it public, or benefit the public or themselves. China people's habits are just the opposite. The deeper you learn, the higher your martial arts, that is, hiding in the mountains and not wanting to be known. This different concept of "name" or "benefit" can explain the fundamental differences between Chinese and western cultures, especially Taoism in China culture. Understand this key, and you will understand that there is no reason to research whether Tai Ji Chuan was awarded by Zhang Sanfeng or whether Shaolin Boxing was passed down by the founder of Dharma.
On the other hand, after Yongle in Ming Dynasty, Shaolin Temple became a jungle, and Zhang Sanfeng was one of the new schools of Taoism in Ming Dynasty. At that time, all factions in the world took refuge in him, and the internal strength of boxing was attributed to Zhang Sanfeng. It seems that today's ideas are also quoted by the founding fathers, and the name of the world belongs to the founding fathers. So if you want to find the root of poverty and investigate the root now, it is difficult to draw a conclusion, just wasting your energy.
Northern boxing
What is the difference between Shaolin and Wudang? Basically, it is because of the different geographical environment and lifestyle between the north and the south. There is a lot of land in the north and many rivers in the south. Northerners are good at riding and walking, while southerners are good at swimming by boat. Due to the differences in cultural and geographical environment, the types of Wushu are also different. According to my personal experience, Shaolin has great posture, long boxing and long fighting, just like the cultural characteristics of the north. For example, in the loess plain in the north, there is a lot of sediment. I have seen a kind of leg training in the north, one step at a time, kicking in big strides and walking with kung fu. It turns out that once the struggle fails, it will take the road away. At this time, the raised sediment will make the smoke billow, just like smoke bombs in modern wars.
fight at close quarters
Because of the different geographical environment, Nanquan is mostly displayed on ships, so it focuses on colorful flags. It seems that a kind of "boatman boxing" is popular in Guangdong, but it is actually a synthesis of five kinds of dragon boxing in Shaolin boxing. When you practice, your legs are squatting and stiff. During the Ming Dynasty, the Japanese pirates harassed the coastal areas of China, and the training ships were sacrificed to defend the Japanese pirates. Beiquan is a martial art used on land, which is stable, but it is not suitable for use because of the waves and ships. You have to hold a pile first to avoid the turbulence of the waves. So he created another trick and gradually formed the wind of colorful flags between Fujian and Guangdong. Everything in the world, its earliest source is very similar, and when it became popular, it evolved into different forms due to different regions and times. So there is no need to have any views on martial arts. It's really sad to argue about the merits and demerits of Wushu.
Due to people
The development of Wushu, in addition to the influence of time and space, depends on the individual's appearance and endowment again. This is a major factor. The popularity of Tai Ji Chuan is accepted by the general public, and all men, women and children who want to live a long and healthy life can exercise their muscles. For this reason, men, women and children practice, so the boxing is getting softer and softer. As for today's young people boxing, let's tell a joke. It can be said that they are dancing China's ballet, and even some people really practice with the music beat, which shows that times are changing and culture is changing at any time.
The Book of Changes and Tai Ji Chuan
It is a good and appropriate thing for ordinary literati to learn from the soil and practice Tai Ji Chuan to keep fit because of their infirmity. However, it is a good thing that a scholar created a biography of Taiji from the Book of Changes, which involves the gossip of Yin and Yang. What is the cooperation between Taiji Chuan and Yijing? You can trust and obey at will, but it doesn't matter much. If you want to divide the hand shape into yin and yang, and cooperate with two instruments, that is, the back of the hand is yang, the palm is yin and so on. It seems that the theory is empty. There is no name "Tai Chi" in the Book of Changes, and this name appeared at least after the Song Dynasty, because the Taiji theory in the Book of Changes was advocated by Neo-Confucianism in the Song Dynasty, not before the Tang Dynasty. The name Taiji was first put forward by Taoism, and Neo-Confucianism in Song Dynasty took Taiji as the fundamental basis of its theory, and then expounded its theory with Yin and Yang gossip. Therefore, the name of Taiji Zhuan should be after the Song Dynasty, which can't be wrong. If Zhang Sanfeng created the biography of Tai Chi, it's nothing, but it's unnecessary to add the Yijing theory to it. Yi was once the head of the group classics, extensive and profound. However, if it is far-fetched, wasting energy on studying its relationship with boxing seems to deviate from the reality of martial arts.
High and low piles
There is still a difference between high piles and low piles in Tai Ji Chuan, but if the purpose of practicing boxing is to keep fit, you don't have to care about height. Anyway, the muscles and bones are too strong to move. Let everyone help themselves, there is no need to argue about which is better or worse. God who sticks to high piles or low piles can live forever. Then people who practiced Tai Ji Chuan in ancient times don't know how many, and now the loess is blank. What is the dispute between high piles and low piles?
from the easier to the more advanced
In short, it is the same to learn anything, whether it is meditation, monasticism, Buddhism, meditation or internal work. You don't have to aim too high at the beginning and talk about profound theories, and you don't have to talk about becoming immortal and Buddha for the time being. But practice until you are alive and not tired when you are dead. Don't worry about becoming immortal and Buddha. It's the same with learning Tai Chi Chuan.
when and where
Now let's discuss the "Dao Gong" mentioned by Committee member Han Zhensheng. Many people get up early in the morning to practice Tai Ji Chuan, which may be a very dangerous thing in Taiwan Province Province. We know that people over middle age in Taiwan Province Province have four kinds of intractable diseases: hypertension, heart disease, asthma and arthritis. These four diseases are difficult to cure in Taiwan Province, but they can be said to be helpful in other places, such as the different climates in the United States, Japan and South Korea. Why is it difficult to treat in Taiwan Province? Take wiping bronze ware as an example. If you brush it once in Chinese mainland, it will be bright and dazzling, and it will remain dark for two months. But in Taiwan Province Province, it began to fade the next day. Once again, I asked a car driver by washing the oil pipe, what's the difference between Taiwan Province Province and the mainland? He said it was very different. It can be washed in Chinese mainland, but it needs steel brush and washing in Taiwan Province, which can only be removed again and again. He also went to unknown so happily. In fact, Treasure Island in Taiwan Province Province is like a boat in the sea. The air contains water vapor evaporated from seawater, just like the water vapor in the bathhouse is wet and salty. Imagine getting up early to practice boxing and taking a deep breath in such a state. How could it be better How could I? It's ok at high altitude in mountainous areas, but it may not be healthy and prolong life in the flat coastal areas. On the contrary, it is easy to get sick, which is really a feeling of hurting first and benefiting later. This is my personal opinion, and it is also the conclusion drawn through various experimental studies.
Because of the difference in latitude and longitude, the climate in Taiwan Province is different from that in Chinese mainland. Therefore, when practicing boxing in Taiwan Province Province, you don't need to get up too early and take a deep breath too violently. Unless Qigong is really practiced at home, you can ignore these. Because people who practice qigong well can adapt when they breathe. ) Otherwise, deep breathing in the usual way in Taiwan Province Province should be corrected. This is the result of my 40-year observation and experiment, which is probably not bad, especially for those who have practiced boxing, meditation, internal strength, Qigong or Tai Ji Chuan in Taiwan Province and have been ill for a long time.
do breathing exercise
Secondly, it is also true that there are methods to practice Tai Ji Chuan. No matter whether you study Taoism or Buddhism, people who have meditated can feel that there is qi in their bodies. Taoist theory says that the human body is a small world, not an empty talk, and this involves "practicing Qi". Indian Yoga and Taoist Qigong in China practice Qi through the nose. The best medicine in the world is to practice qigong by yourself. The nose organs are all your own, and you don't need to buy air. It's a pity that 999 out of 1000 people refuse to learn the skills of practicing Qi persistently, which really makes people feel helpless in old age.
Let it develop naturally.
If you insist on practicing Qigong for a long time, you can know that it is not the role of breathing outside air that makes people healthy and live longer, but the power to promote their own life instinct. Combustible things don't seem to spontaneously ignite, and we need to ignite them under the guise of something or a method. This is also the reason why we practice Qigong to breathe. The "Qi" mentioned by Taoism in China, like the "Energy" mentioned by science today, is not a lower-level "electricity". With the practice of qigong, over time, you will feel the activation of qigong, and it also has a certain trajectory to follow. It is often said that some people are influenced by some novels and follow the trend. In fact, the second pulse of Ren Du should not be deliberately opened, but should be put aside during meditation. The more you open your mind, the more you can apply it to nature. This is the basic point of the so-called qigong practice. Generally, people who sit still and fight boxing often use ideas to get through, but the result is haste makes waste. There is a good analogy. Take the rotation of the wheel as an example. If you lift a wheel off the ground and release the brake, the wheel will not touch the ground or anything else, and you can drive flexibly and smoothly with a flick. If the inside is blocked by brakes and the outside is blocked by bricks, it will be difficult to rotate. The qi in our body is always running. As long as there is breath in our body, before we die, we will run in its orbit. Unfortunately, due to the complexity of external things, we can't think and realize this principle. Let's see, when a person is tired, he is eager to have a rest. Once he has a rest, the qi machine runs along the track, and his fatigue is exhausted and his energy is restored. Meditation can also be regarded as being in a state of semi-sleep, not waking up or sleeping, from which we can at least understand that this situation can reduce the consumption of vitality and extend the period of using vitality. That is to say, the effect of prolonging life is obtained, but this is not due to the increase of the outside world, but to the internal strength of the original object itself, which gains gravity and grows, and follows its trajectory and strives for self-improvement constantly. Therefore, it is the first point to make the qi of Ren Du's second pulse unobstructed.
It is generally known that we should get through the second pulse of Ren Du, but why is it not easy to get through? There are many reasons, but most of them are because when boxing and meditation, there is an idea in my mind that I want to get through the second pulse of Ren Du. The idea is nothing more than pulling the brake of the internal air conditioner to let the air conditioner stay inside or stay outside because of the disturbance of the outer edge. If you live inside and outside, you must know that it hinders stagnation, so there are also people who practice qigong in boxing and meditation, which makes you blush. It should be noted that this red face is not a good phenomenon. Probably because of stagnation of qi and blood, brain congestion is easy and fatal. It is wrong to take this as a dead end, and laymen mistakenly praise it as "a man with a road." In fact, people in China are yellow-skinned, but not yellow-skinned. This should be clear.
Plum blossoms in the wind
As I said before, boxing has the difference between high piles and short piles. In fact, you don't need to hold high piles or short piles in the mud first, so kung fu will be fine naturally. At present, many elderly people regard boxing as a leisure activity to promote health, and have contributed to one of Tai Ji Chuan's basic movements, namely "shaking" of internal strength. What is shaking? It is a person who stands up straight, his feet are tight, and his whole body is not hard. He relaxed his limbs and then trembled slightly. He looks like an old tree facing the wind. Even if a typhoon comes, he will shake unexpectedly and move backwards. This is called Plum Blossoms in the Wind, and its name is very poetic. Shake for a long time, you can shake out the gas in your body. When the elderly practice, the effect is no less than that of Tai Ji Chuan, but it is more likely than that of Tai Ji Chuan.
Magic people.
For example, we also breathe through our nostrils, but after careful analysis, there are as many as 390 methods. There are many ways to practice yoga in India, such as using nose or mouth, reducing abdomen when inhaling, and so on. It varies from person to person. All methods can be said to be right, but learners have their own endowments and should be used with caution. For example, young and healthy people and infirm people should have different ways of exercise. If you use it wrong, it will shorten your life. This should be deeply understood and observed. Learning Buddhism or Taoism should be regarded as forbidden. For example, some Taoist priests pay attention to guarding skills. The so-called upper abdomen, middle abdomen and lower abdomen should be carried out according to everyone's own physique and should not be practiced blindly. People with high blood pressure will "die" as soon as possible if they keep their abdomen or a skill between the eyebrows, while it takes a long time for women to keep their abdomen. Therefore, it is a basic principle that all practices should be different from person to person and cannot be generalized! ! !

Secondly, our human body can be divided into two parts conceptually. The diaphragm is located in the middle, separating the upper and lower parts. Taoist immortal paintings often carry gourds, which means there are two parts. For example, the qi of the human body is divided into upper and lower parts, which Taoism calls yin and yang. There are five days in Indian yoga: rising day, falling day, middle day, left day and right day. According to China's theory of Yin and Yang, it can be divided into five elements, namely, the former Suzaku, the later Xuanwu, the left Qinglong, the right white tiger and the central Tengsnake. All kinds of metaphysical theories only cite five paths for the popularity of human qi.
