On March 6th, 2020, Shanghai International Marathon won the platinum standard event of the world track and field.
Shanghai International Marathon has a full marathon, 10 km and fitness run, and the highest prize of the full marathon champion can reach $45,000.
Physical requirements of participants:
Road running is a high-load, high-intensity and long-distance competitive sport, and it is also a high-risk competitive event, which requires high physical conditions for the contestants. Participants should be healthy and have the foundation of long-term running exercise.
Those who have the following conditions are not suitable to participate in the Shanghai International Marathon: congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease; Hypertension and cerebrovascular diseases; Myocarditis and other heart diseases; Coronary artery disease and severe arrhythmia; Diabetes with high or low blood sugar; Pregnancy; Catch a cold within two weeks before the competition; Other situations that are not suitable for exercise.
