Mani in Memory is a Japanese animated film produced by Studio Ghibli, which premiered in Japan on July 19, 2065438. The film is directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi and voiced by Keiko Niwa.

The plot of the film is adapted from the children's literature works of British novelist Joan G Robinson, and tells the touching story between the heroine Anna and the girl Marnie.

Anna lives with her adoptive parents. She has no friends. She is a withdrawn and self-abased little girl. One summer later, Anna was sent to Norfolk to live with old Peggy. In this seaside village, Anna met Marnie, a girl of the same age.

They became good friends, playing and laughing together. Marnie freed Anna from loneliness and learned to make friends. However, one day, Marnie disappeared. But no one in the village knows Marnie exists.
