On June 5th, 20001year, the Fitness Qigong Management Center of the State Sports General Administration held an unveiling ceremony in China Wushu Research Institute of Beijing Olympic Sports Center, which was formally established on April 30th, 20001year with the approval of the Office of the Central Organizing Committee.

Fitness Qigong Management Center is a public institution directly under the State Sports General Administration and a permanent office of China Fitness Qigong Association. The State Sports General Administration entrusts the overall management function of health qigong to the center. The main task of the center is to organize and guide the development of health qigong in a unified way, strengthen the management of health qigong, and bring health qigong into a standardized, scientific and legal track according to national laws, regulations and policies.

The establishment of health qigong management center is another important measure to strengthen and improve health qigong management after the promulgation of Interim Measures for Health Qigong Management, which fully reflects the government's great attention to health qigong management and is of great significance to further promote the healthy development of health qigong.
