It was last summer vacation, and my parents took me to see Changbai Mountain. The tourist bus took us to the foot of the mountain, and the thick green came to our faces. The dense forest extends to the depths of the mountains, and the grass in the forest is like a green velvet carpet. The clear stream is flowing happily, hitting the stone and making a tinkling sound. As soon as I entered the mountain gate, my eyes were attracted by a sign that said the origin of the name of Changbai Mountain: "The main peak of Changbai Mountain is white pumice and snow, so it is named Changbai Mountain".
Just then, my mother called out to me: "We are going to Tianchi by off-road vehicle!" "I'm nervous and excited. It was slow at first, but then it drove faster and faster. Walking on the winding mountain road like a ribbon is more exciting than riding a roller coaster. I looked both ways. At first, it was a mixed forest of conifers and broadleaved trees. After a while, I found that the outside became a coniferous forest. After a while, we arrived at the Yuehua forest belt. The higher up, the fewer trees there are, and finally only some low bushes are left.
At the top of the mountain, I jumped out of the car and rushed across the highland full of volcanic rocks, cheering and coming to Tianchi, which I had been longing for for for a long time. Surrounded by mountains, a huge lake seems to fall from the sky. The lake is like a crystal clear sapphire, reflecting white clouds. Suddenly, I thought I was in a beautiful fairyland. It's a pity that we didn't see the legendary water monster. After coming down from Tianchi, we continued to see the famous Changbai Mountain Waterfall. Two huge streams of water rush down from Tianchi Lake. It's really appropriate to describe it as "Three thousands of feet rivers are flying down, and it's suspected that the Milky Way has set for nine days".
Finally, we visited the mysterious underground forest and drifted under Changbai Mountain, which added new fun to my trip to Changbai Mountain!
