Open Photoshop CS, and we open the editing dialog box from the menu "File/Auto/Image Merge".
Let's take making a map of Zhang Quanjing as an example to learn how to use the "image merging" function.
Please prepare the digital photos to be spliced in advance (because the size of the scene taken by the camera is limited, you must use the camera to take photos of the scene in four directions), and we will put these photos in a folder. The Image Merge dialog box opens, and Photoshop CS will prompt us to import the photos to be processed first. Here, you can import all the pictures in the defined folder into the editing dialog box together, or you can select a single picture to import.
Prepare the panoramic folder, select "Use Folder" in "Source File" and open the photo to be synthesized.
After clicking OK, all the pictures in the 360-degree panoramic folder will appear in the blank dialog box of the source file. Here, you can select individual pictures, and unwanted pictures can be deleted by using the "Delete" function.
After selecting the source images, you can check the option "Try to arrange the source images automatically" and then check "OK". At this time, Photoshop CS will automatically perform a series of operations, which is very fast, but we can also clearly see the steps of automatic operation. First, import the pictures into Photoshop one by one, and then import them into the image composition dialog box. Because "Try to arrange source images automatically" was selected in advance, Photoshop will automatically arrange a panorama according to the scene of the picture. If the automatic arrangement function is not selected, we need to edit the pictures arranged in the "Image Composition" operation dialog box ourselves.
