Langfang Normal University, formerly known as Anci County Simple Normal School, was founded in 1946. From 65438 to 0956, it was transformed into Langfang Normal School in Hebei Province. 1964 was renamed Langfang Normal University. Approved by the Ministry of Education in 2000, it was upgraded to Langfang Normal College and became a provincial undergraduate college. In 2005, with the approval of Hebei Provincial People's Government, it merged with Hebei Vocational and Technical College to form a new Langfang Normal College.

The school is divided into east and west campuses, covering an area of 2,000 mu. There are nearly 20,000 full-time college students and nearly 2,000 faculty members. There are more than 50 majors, forming a "one body and two wings" discipline layout with teachers as the main body and economics and engineering as the two wings.
