First, it is made of clay.
1. Material preparation: Select a clay with a color close to dragon skin color, and then select several dark clays as the material of dragon pattern.
2. Shaping the head: According to the imaginary faucet shape, shape the clay into a general head structure by hand. Pay attention to leave enough space to make the dragon's facial features.
3. Add details: pinch out the eyes, nose and mouth of the dragon with dark clay, and finely carve the details with tools. Then use light mud to make longan highlights.
4. Stripe making: Knead the dark clay into small pieces and paste them on the faucet to form stripes.
5. Air-drying and shaping: put the manufactured faucet in a ventilated place and wait for natural air drying.
Second, the use of paper art production
1. Preparation materials: select thick colored paper and cut out various parts according to the designed faucet shape.
2. Folding and pasting: Folding and pasting all parts according to the instructions on the drawings to form a three-dimensional faucet structure.
3. Detail making: draw the eyes, nose and mouth of the dragon with colored pens or pigments to increase the three-dimensional sense.
4. Assembly and decoration: Assemble all the parts together and decorate them with colored paper strips or shiny decorations.
5. Finish the work: Finally, check whether there is anything that needs to be adjusted to finish the work.
Third, make use of soft pottery.
1, material preparation: choose soft pottery with similar skin color to dragon, and prepare corresponding tools.
2. Prototyping: roughly make the shape of the faucet on the soft pottery.
3. Shaping and depicting: Carefully adjust the prototype and depict the dragon's five senses with tools.
4. Baking and setting: putting the molded soft pottery into an oven for baking and setting.
5. Coloring and decoration: After the soft clay is completely cooled, it is colored with acrylic pigment or soft clay toner, and decorated with beads or metal sheets.
Fourth, use 3D printing technology.
1. Design model: Create the shape of faucet in 3D design software to ensure rich and accurate details.
2. Print the model: import the designed faucet model into a 3D printer and follow the print instructions. After printing, carefully polish the model to remove possible burrs or unevenness.
3. Coloring and decoration: color the faucet with acrylic pigment or model paint. According to the design requirements, stripes or other decorative elements can be added.
4. Complete assembly: If the faucet needs to be connected with the body or other parts, it can be assembled with super glue or welding technology.
5. Maintenance: For the 3D printed model, it should be cleaned regularly and kept dry to prevent the material from aging or deformation.
