STO Street Dance Team (formerly known as "73 1" Street Dance Team) was established in February 2006 at 5438+0. When it was first established, there were as many as 52 members. It is also one of the earliest street dance teams established in Guangzhou. 73 1 Dance Team is named by Tom, Shan Ge, Long Zai and others through consultation, and members communicate with each other through dancing. Since the first popular frontier street dance competition in Guangzhou, Guangzhou street dance has developed rapidly and many new street dance teams have emerged. After that, the 73 1 street dance team branched into several teams, including the now famous dance team X-Style. Today, STO not only participates in some commercial performances, but also often participates in voluntary performances of radio stations, TV stations, middle schools, university campuses and charities, with the aim of promoting street dance culture. "Let street dance become a healthy extracurricular activity and hobby for the majority of teenagers" has become the purpose of STO, and they still insist on this kind of public welfare activity for the purpose of publicity. Li Haishan, one of the founders of Captain STO's dance team, began to practice street dance from 1999, before that. Because of his gymnastics background, he made rapid progress in difficult movements and quickly established his "Jianghu status". After hip-hop began to develop in the new direction, Ashan and his friends still insisted on performing hip-hop in the most primitive way. Ashan's favorite action (street dance action) is head spin, that is, head spin-turning at high speed on the ground with the top of the head as the fulcrum, and the visual effect is very outstanding. However, simply turning your head can no longer meet Ashan's requirements. Stepping into 2003, he began to challenge new difficulties-after mastering the basic strength movements, he pursued consistency and mixing. For example, Thomas joined the turning movement (turning with his hands as the fulcrum and his feet not touching the ground), but once he turned over, he needed agile skills, and the general B-boy could not reach the degree of seamless connection. For the "soft" street dance, Ashan said that in the United States, the birthplace of street dance, many real players have begun to shape their personal styles. Many people can practice basic technical movements, but it is difficult to imitate personalized coherent movements. At the earliest time, Ashan learned hip-hop skills from friends in front of the Martyrs Cemetery. There are 73 1 street dancers in many places where people dance street dance, such as Guangzhou Popular Front Line, Martyrs Cemetery, Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Chenjiaci, Liwan Square, Blue Express, binjiang road, Fangcun Pier, Eleventh Palace, Dongchuan Street Dance Square, Tianhe City Square and Xin 'an Building. These places are "general halls" frequented by Ashan.
