After the Olympic Games, the gymnasium of Peking University will accommodate 6000 spectators after renovation. Functionally, the museum not only meets the needs of physical education teaching, scientific research and training in Peking University, but also complements other existing venues in the school and highlights its characteristics. At the same time, the museum will be open to the whole school, teachers, students and the society, and will host major sports events, cultural performances and large-scale gatherings at home and abroad, becoming an important place for teachers, students and employees of the school and surrounding communities to exercise and relax.
