Where is Taishan Park?
Taishan Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Taishan Park is located in the main urban area of Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. Parks without walls are free. The park is divided into four areas: human landscape area, bonsai viewing area, street green recreation area and waterfront recreation area. A lake around the park is called Xiaoxihu. The water quality of the lake is extremely clear, and the green trees on the mountain are reflected in the water, forming a beautiful reflection, which makes people have unlimited reverie. There are winding cloisters by the lake, a long wooden trestle is built next to the stone dam, and the hydrophilic platform extends into the lake, bringing tourists pure enjoyment, which is worthy of the title of water garden. There are Diaoyutai, yacht marina, rockery in the middle of the lake, Hu Lin Temple and Wangyuelou around Xiaoxihu. The broad slate avenue is lined with Zhu Shi Square, Grandma Temple, Spring Rain Cottage and Duanhuai Pavilion. Water gardens, open courtyards, Dawn Square, small islands in the lake and Taishan Park soften the style of modern squares with ancient buildings, which can accommodate more than 10,000 people at the same time. It's really a good place for Taizhou citizens to keep fit and nourish their hearts.

Taizhou Yuedun (Taishan Mountain), Xiaoxihu Lake, Hu Lin Temple and other places of interest formed since the Song Dynasty were collectively called Taishan Park in July 195 1 year after the founding of New China. This year, Taizhou Municipal People's Government decided to take Yuedun as the main landscape to prepare for the construction of this large public garden.

Since then, Taishan Park has become a gathering place of historical relics in Taizhou. Zhu Shifang in the Ming Dynasty, the Second Hall of Taishan Palace (Grandma Temple) in the Ming Dynasty, and Tan Jie (Hall) of Guangxiao Temple in the Qing Dynasty were moved here one after another. Shinto stone carvings in the Ming Dynasty and ancient bonsai in Taizhou have also been exhibited in the park.

Many Ming and Qing buildings in the park were moved from the city. Wang Yue architecture was originally transformed from the wood of Jietai Temple in Guangxiao Temple. Three Ming Dynasty buildings in the north are from Wang Mansion, a cultural relic protection unit in Dalinqiao Province. The office building of the Garden Management Office was originally the A Qing Dynasty Bankhouse next to the Dahua Cinema in the North Gate. A row of buildings in Dongyuan was originally the office building of Shangba Police Station in Flagstaff Lane at the beginning of liberation, and a group of elegant and quaint mahogany furniture inside was a must in Taizhou. As for a temple in the north of the garden, it is the second hall of Taishan Palace in Ming Dynasty.

With a history of thousands of years, Taishan Park tells people about the long history of Taizhou, shows the aura and charm of the ancient city, and embodies the historical and cultural heritage of the famous city with the massiness of Taishan, the beauty of the small West Lake, the elegance of the bonsai garden and the brilliance of many cultural relics. When Taizhou moves towards the future with a brand-new opening attitude, we should keep the cultural context of Taishan Park and the roots of humanistic Taizhou.
