Because the middle is high and the sides are low, it looks like a saddle, and it is high into the clouds, such as the horn standing tall, so it is named the horn saddle. 1958, the state bureau of surveying and mapping measured its precise elevation of 2566.6 meters, which is not only the commanding height of Jinzhong, but also the highest peak of Taiyue Mountain.
