Legend has it that there are several grandfathers of Taiji Chuan: Xu Xuanping in the Tang Dynasty (AD 6 18 ~ 907), Zhang Sanfeng in the Song Dynasty (AD 960 ~ 1278) and Ming Dynasty (AD 1368 ~ 1644). There is a Song of Du Xujin's Teacher Biography in Chen's Tai Ji Chuan Spectrum and Chen's Tai Ji Chuan Spectrum written by Chen's descendants. Du is a descendant of Zhao Bao. Visible Chen Xin also admitted that Tai Ji Chuan was circulated in Wang Zongyue and Jiang Fa. There is no doubt that Wang Zongyue is the master of Shanxi. Mr. Tai Chi, an archaeologist who is over 100 years old, visited Chenjiagou as early as 19 17, and personally listened to the introduction of the gentleman who was writing the illustrations of Chen Tai Ji Chuan. Wang Zongyue's relationship with the teacher is gone. But his great contribution to modern Tai Ji Chuan is indelible. As the forerunner of the Tai Ji Chuan Movement, from Wang to Jiang to modern schools, great achievements have been made. Wang Zongyue's On Tai Ji Chuan, in particular, tells the true meaning of Tai Ji Chuan's theory and practice, and is regarded as the first classic by major Taiji schools. Wang Zongyue's "General Formula of Yin Fu Gun Spectrum" is also a criterion for practicing Tai Chi gun (which was later developed by the Yang family as Tai Chi pole). Yin Fu gun is actually a Tai Chi gun. It's just that its formula has not been widely circulated. Wang Zongyue's On Tai Ji Chuan is actually an exegetical text of Zhang Sanfeng's Six Classics. Due to the omission in circulation, Zhang Sanfeng's Boxing Classics are out of touch with Wang Zongyue's Boxing Theory, resulting in many misunderstandings and confusion. This is why some people say that Tai Ji Chuan originated in Chenjiagou, wen county, Henan, but it started in Zhang Sanfeng. No matter what school Tai Ji Chuan is, it is the same, so it is not important who created it, but the important thing is to inherit and carry it forward.
