Brief introduction of Huanggang Taekwondo Association
Huanggang Taekwondo Association was formally established in Huangzhou, the ancient city on June 6th, and nearly 10,000 Taekwondo lovers in our city have their own organizations and homes since then.
On the day of the establishment of the association and the first member congress, the participants listened to the report of the preparatory group on the preparatory work of the association, deliberated and adopted the constitution, personnel composition plan, election method and management method of membership fee collection of Huanggang Taekwondo Association, and elected the candidates for the first executive director, chairman, vice chairman and secretary general of the association. In the end, he was elected as the president, and nine people, including Zhai, Tu Qiuquan, were elected as the vice presidents and the secretary-general. Huang Hetao served as honorary chairman.
Taekwondo has been loved by young friends in our city since it entered Huanggang in 200 1, and it has developed very rapidly. In the past ten years, there was only one Taoist temple in Huangzhou City, and now it covers the whole city 1 1 counties and cities, with nearly 50 Taoist temples and tens of thousands of fans. Many schools also offer interest classes and set up taekwondo teams. The establishment of Huanggang Taekwondo Association is conducive to further improving the physical quality and cultural accomplishment of young people in our city, unifying and standardizing the market order of Taekwondo in our city, cultivating, storing and transporting more outstanding talents, and better promoting the sustained, healthy and stable development of Taekwondo projects in our city.
What is more gratifying is that in recent years, Taekwondo players in our city have made their mark in competitions at all levels and won medals at or above the provincial level. Among them, Sun, a student of Dongpo Primary School in our city and a student of Jianwei Taekwondo Hall in Huanggang City, won the national champion of children's competition in the 20 1 12 National Volkswagen Taekwondo Championship and won the champion of children's women's competition in the 20165438 China-Korea Taekwondo Exchange Competition, which not only won honors for the provinces and cities, but also became the youngest Olympic event in Huanggang City.
