How can the specifications of school sports equipment and facilities meet the physical and mental characteristics of students?
According to the investigation by researchers, the widespread use of adult sports equipment and facilities in primary and secondary schools is very serious. Taking basketball as an example, in primary and secondary schools, 97% of school basketball equipment is not suitable, of which 53% use adult basketball and 9% use adult basketball stands and courts; All middle schools use adult ball groups. As we all know, primary and secondary school students are in the process of growth and development, and have different physical and mental characteristics from adults. If something that does not conform to its characteristics is allowed to act on it for a long time, the result can be imagined.

Taking basketball as an example, according to the research of Jiangsu Province's "Primary School Basketball Appropriate Form Research Group", the adult ball load of adults and children in the fifth grade of primary school is about 3 times different. If converted in proportion, it is equivalent to an adult throwing a 4-meter-high basketball with a circumference of 3.5 feet and a weight of 3 kilograms on a 78-meter-long court. To be sure, such a load is unbearable for adults. Therefore, similar equipment and facilities that do not meet the characteristics of students are also difficult to develop students' bodies and enhance their physique. On the contrary, sometimes even because of overweight, muscles are pulled, exercise intensity is too high, and internal organs will be damaged, which will cause explicit and implicit harm to students' bodies.

From the perspective of mastering the "three basics", venues and equipment play a very important role. For example, primary schools have all kinds of ball games since primary school-there have been formal basic technical textbooks since the fourth grade, such as basketball passing and catching, dribbling and shooting. If you use inappropriate basketball equipment, it is difficult to master the passing power of wrist and finger and the correct shooting posture. At the same time, catching the ball on the super-large field is easy to make mistakes. Psychological research shows that at the beginning of learning, the younger you are, the more difficult it is to change your motor skills. Interest and motivation are composed of the internal driving force of the body and the induction of behavioral goals as external conditions.

Teenagers have inherent requirements for activities, so our education should pay attention to external incentives, including sports equipment and facilities. If the equipment is not suitable, such as basketball is too heavy and the basket is too high, the success rate of passing and shooting will be very low. This will lead to excessive feedback of "punishment", so that the original positive induction (the body is close to the goal and shows loving activities) will be transformed into negative induction (the body is far away from the goal and shows unloving activities). If this situation is not improved, the result of strengthening will inevitably reduce students' interest and enthusiasm.
